I took my American Eskimo there for deshedding, washing, and a haircut. While the service took approximately two hours, I noticed afterward that my dog was frequently sitting down and resisting walking. Upon inspection, I discovered that the lower part of his belly had been completely shaved and is now red and covered in scabs. I recalled that the groomer appeared nervous and irritable during our appointment, which in hindsight was a red flag. I am very disappointment and upset that my dog should suffer because of their lack of trained groomers and unprofessional act. --

I've always groomed my own dogs, but when my foster dog developed a severely overgrown dewclaw…read morewhich curled in a circle and threatened to puncture the pad, I decided to let a pro handle it. Two groomers told me to go to the vet for it. That sounded like several hundred dollars to do what a groomer would do, and probably them also suggesting a four figure surgery to remove the dewclaws. Walking by The Pet Affaire, I decided to drop in and met Rodney, who told me to come by the next morning with the dog. In about 10 minutes, a unfazed Rodney and his team did all his nails and cut back the problem dewclaw significantly, despite the Cujo-like antics of the (muzzled) dog. The price was super reasonable and the dog doesn't associate me with the unpleasant experience. Win-win. I love watching pros who know what they're doing, and this was a perfect example of that. Highly recommend this establishment and will be returning.

From the moment Didi walks in the door, he is treated like a VIP. Everyone who works there knows him by name and is genuinely excited to see him. Didi absolutely loves all the attention and affection he receives from the Rover team. Whenever I pick Didi up after a day at Rover, he is always super happy and playful. He often gets the "zoomies" running around the dog park next to Rover and again once we get home. And after a fun day with his friends, he crashes at home and sleeps with a big smile on his face. We also appreciate the additional services Rover has added recently, such as grooming and beach walks. These services are incredibly convenient, and Didi especially loves the beach walks. (I've attached a couple of photos to show how much he enjoys them!) My wife and I both couldn't do our jobs during the day without the peace of mind that Didi is being so well taken care of. Rover Santa Monica has truly been a lifesaver for us, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry friends.

Man, did we make the right decision! The workers were so well trained and professional. They made our puppy feel so at ease (and she's not the easiest to calm down). (She looks a little sad in the picture but I can promise you, she loved them!) I wished we lived in the area, so we could keep coming back to them. But if you're considering them, please give them a call! You won't regret it :)

They are absolutely the most accommodating & professional groomers I've been too by far. There are several reasons why you should take your dog here. First off, it's AFFORDABLE! Second, they are very fast paced & you can definitely have your dog out at a reasonable time. Lastly, they are very attentive and they satisfied my every need while keeping my dog safe & sound. I'm so grateful to have found this hidden treasure, with the most and amazing workers! They handled my cavapoo who is very antisocial and difficult to groom but he came out extremely handsome & happy! Also, I've gone to MANY pet parlors and this is the only parlor that actually listens to my needs and does exactly what I've asked for. I've gone to many parlors in this area, and they give my poor dog a haircut of THEIR choice and not my own. But every time I come here, they exceed my expectations and keep my cavapoo looking even more handsome then I last left him! Thank you thank you again! I have recommended this place to all of my friends with dogs & they also agree on what a wonderful place this is!!
