They are so extremely good and patient with him. The vet calls me everytime the results are ready to go over them with me. The results come in very quickly since they're in house. His levels were really low a few weeks ago and I was having trouble getting in contact with our oncologist (they're not local). Their techs and vets called me multiple times to check on him and see if I had an update from the oncologist on how to move forward. When we finally decided on a game plan to move forward, it was close to closing time for them and they made it possible for me to pick up the prescription I needed once I got off work. I've also brought my other dog in for her leg. She tore her ACL a few months back and it was pretty clear that we were going to need surgery. The vet came in explained that instead of paying them to do a xray, just to get one done with her surgeon because we were all pretty confident she needed TPLO surgery (this was her second one). They're very considerate of your time and your money. No, they're not the cheapest vet in the area, but they save you money where they can and provide amazing service in return. Last time I was in there, I was stressed and overwhelmed and they made it clear to me that they are there for me and my dogs. Also, Misti is a rockstar at drawing blood. Anyways, take your pets here if you're looking for a new vet.

When she started coughing a lot and having several episodes, we called up Planet Pet, where she has been seen several time over the past year. Although they were "double booked", they told us to bring Lucy right in. Dr. Witte was caring, explained carefully how heart problems manifest in dogs, and when we said we were ready to let our little girl go, he and his staff gently prepared her for her final injection. After a tranquilizer, Lucy was brought back to be with us (as we wished) as her life ended, peacefully and gently. The doctor and staff at Planet Pet are wonderful and we heartily recommend their practice.

Charlie, the veterinarian, is a great guy. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything. He gives options and obviously says what the best course is. If he's not sure, he will say so, and will find the answer. I like that a lot. I'm in a different profession and know someone can't have all the answers on the spot. I can tell from talking to him that he has a good well of resources. That in itself speaks volumes. He will call me personally, even late after official business hours. He is a truly good and stand-up guy. From the usual annual visit, to typical things that come up (ear infections,) to major problems (months long blood related problems,) Charlie saw Hera through and got her back into a healthy Jack Russell Terrier. My girlfriend's dog had a run-in with a wild animal over a weekend and her usual vet was not available. Charlie said to bring him on in and treated him. My girlfriend is personal friends with her vet, but said if he was to leave she is going to Planet Pet without a doubt. It is blatantly clear that Charlie loves animals as much as any of us can. Jennifer, the office manager, is great and is quick to respond to any request. She is also great with animals and you can tell she loves them. Stephaine, a technician, is a wonderful person. She has been very helpful and treats my dog Hera with great care. She gives her lots of pets and keeps her in good spirits. It's obvious she loves animals. Now for Misty, a technician. By no means putting her at the end do I wish to take anything away from her. I think Misty is what Hera honestly likes best about Planet Pet. Hera absolutely loves Misty and Misty loves her right back as much. Misty didn't see Hera and I walk in one visit. She heard that Hera was coming in and heard the collar jingle in the exam room. She walks in and says "no one told me Hera was here!" and she comes in, pets Hera, and gives her a kiss. It really makes me feel great about my animals care when I see the love the entire staff has for animals. These are genuine people. If the topic ever comes up about a veterinarian I always rave about Planet Pet. I have every confidence in them and know that my girl Hera will always get the best care. Hera's demeanor does change a little when she gets there, she becomes happier and wags her tail faster than ever from the moment she walks in. You can't beat that.
