Every team member is committed to the oral health of the patient, and this will be apparent to each individual that enters our practice. The patients will feel that the treatment they receive is based on what is best for them and communicated in a clear and thoughtful way. Our entire staff will strive to educate our patients about their oral health so that they may make educated decisions about what care is best for them.
History
Established in 1998.
Michael G. Stevens, DDS is a 1984 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. From 1984 to 1996 he maintained a general dental practice in Laurel, MT. As a practicing dentist, Dr. Stevens was an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He served as an officer in the AGD for 3 years, serving as vice president and chair of the continuing education program. Dr. Stevens is also a past president of the 9th District Dental Society and has served in many other capacities for the local dental society. In 1998, Dr. Stevens graduated from the Goldman School of Dentistry at Boston University after completing the 2 year specialty training in Endodontics.
Upon completion of his training, he opened a practice limited to endodontics in Billings. In 2005, he was board certified in endodontics, becoming the second endodontist in Montana to be awarded that status.

Upon completion of his training, Dr. Stevens opened a practice limited to endodontics in Billings. In 2005, he was board certified in endodontics, becoming the second endodontist in Montana to be awarded that status. Dr. Stevens currently serves as a visiting instructor in the endodontic department of Boston University. He is a board examiner for the specialty of endodontics for the northeastern region of the US.
Dr. Stevens has particular interest in surgical endodontics. He also sits on the advisory board of Endovision Software Company. Recently, Dr. Stevens accepted appointment to a national committee seeking to improve the delivery of endodontics in the private practice.
Dr. Stevens and his wife Mona have a daughter Jordan, and a son Austin. As a family they enjoy the many outdoor pleasures of Montana such as hiking, skiing, fishing and boating.
