Went to hospital,they couldn't help , no dentists in Tazewell or anywhere near would see me or help me because I wasn't an established patient . My daughter n law made the last call we were going to make to ask for help and thank God it was Dr Moore and Laningham's office! Dr Laningham didn't care if I was an established patient , he did care that I was in pain and needed help. Him and his assistant gave up part of their Saturday to come in and remove my tooth so I wouldn't have to be in pain the rest of the weekend , and so I could finally eat or drink something! He also charged me less than we paid for my husband to have a tooth removed during regular business hours with a scheduled appointment! If I need any dental done while I'm still around the area , I will drive the hour to go there. Nice to know there are doctors out that that still care and have compassion and sympathy for someone in pain. Him and his assistant was very nice and professional . He is very good, he takes care of my teeth so well. He listens to my concerns (if I have any) and addresses them to put my mind at ease. The hygienist are also excellent. The receptionist replied we don't have room for Medicare united health after asking if I had united though my employer. As she tried to word it had I had anything other than Medicare insurance I would get an appointment. So I said so its not the insurance company, you just a problem with people in Medicare. After the total polite conversation it was a PREJUDICE OF OLDER PEOPLE who has worked all there lives to be turned away for not being able-bodied anymore. I know I am not the only person this has happened to by these people.
