I thought this was a great way to showcase photography, different than the usual 'mount the photos in a frame and display on the wall' It gives a whole new dimension of viewing. From the students experiences you can feel that they've learned so much and opened themselves up to a new way of looking through the camera and learning the basics. From point-and-shoots to DSLRs, you'll learn to use the functions and develop that "photographer's eye". They also have First Friday Photo. Every first friday of the month starting around 7pm til about 10pm, you can meet the Nomura's and other aspiring photographers in a social setting at their studio. Along with host and guest supplied snacks and drinks, they will also have lights set up and possible themes where you can come and shoot. Discuss techniques or anything relating to photography. Al and Erin are very warming and always excited to teach and share the world of photography. From beginners to professionals, there's always something to learn. Not only did we have a call earlier in the week to discuss steps I'd need to take in order to ensure everything went smoothly, but he also took time to communicate with my other vendors and consider how we might rearrange our ceremony indoors in order to take advantage of the available natural light.
