He provided me with so much information that I felt confident making the decision that was best for me and my body. What stood out to me most was that I never felt like I was simply being "sold" a procedure. I genuinely felt that Dr. Micallef wanted to help me become the best and most confident version of myself. Tatiana and the young ladies at the front desk were equally amazing. Whether I had questions about financing, scheduling, appointments, or anything in between, they were always kind, responsive, and welcoming. The entire team makes you feel truly special, and you can tell they are genuinely excited to be part of your journey. The preparation leading up to surgery was seamless. They prepared me so thoroughly that I had very few questions going into surgery because I already knew exactly what to expect. My surgery itself went incredibly smoothly. I experienced very minimal discomfort -- I would honestly rate it around a 1 or 2 out of 10, and it never went beyond that. I also never experienced any nausea. One of the things that made me feel especially cared for was that my caretaker and I were given Dr. Micallef's and Tatiana's personal numbers in case we had any concerns. Dr.Micallef ven FaceTimed us the night of my surgery after I had been released just to make sure I was doing well. That level of personal care meant so much to me. My recovery was amazing as well. The lymphatic massages, additional massages, and red light therapy were wonderful additions to my healing process and made my recovery feel even more supported. I am now three months postoperative, and I am absolutely obsessed with my results. After losing a significant amount of weight, I was left with sagging breasts, very little density, and a lot of loose skin. I ultimately pursued a breast lift, and the confidence I have gained from the results is incredible. My breasts are perky, even, full, and just...happy! It is amazing to be able to wear strapless tops and dresses and, honestly, to not feel like I have to wear a bra all the time. This experience has been about so much more than the physical results. My nose looks worse than it did before, which is unacceptable given the purpose of the procedure. What makes the situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of accountability. I've tried multiple times to address these issues, and his office still requires a consultation fee just to be seen--despite the fact that these problems are a direct result of his work. 9/28/23: So, I just received a bill from the office dated after I wrote review. On 12/27/22, I had…read morean appointment with the office to discuss my concerns with my nose. At the end of my appointment, I told the staff I received a bill stating I owed a balance. Tje female staff brought it up to Dr. Garza's attention. He told her to write off the balance. So, I was thankful. I did ask for this write off in writing for my records. I was told that their billing department would send me this. Well, months go by. I call the office again in May 2022 asking for the invoice stating this balance was written off. I was given somewhat of an attitude by the female that answered the phone. I was told that there no number I can call to request this from their billing department. To date, I never received this invoice stating my balance was written off. This is why I was hesitant to write this review. I feared that I would be retaliated against for writing my experience. Plus, the balance has now doubled. All these months went by without getting a bill, and now after I wrote this review, a bill shows up to my house stating I have a past due balance. It's disappointing.

I love this office and seeing Doctor Shimotzu, I feel she really cares about you and your well…read morebeing. The only negative is the appointment availability, if I have something wrong with me my appointments are always next day or within a week. However, if I call to get a physical wellness exam my appointment gets pushed out 4-6 months. It makes me sad because I like to keep tabs on my health every year but having to book so far in advance seems a bit extreme especially since my schedule or circumstances may change during the window that I am waiting. I don't have any chronic illnesses or huge health concerns but diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure run in my family and I would rather be proactive now that I do not have issues in hopes that my preventative measures will allow me to catch an illness earlier rather than later. I do hope they start allowing more flexibility for physical exam appointments. It would be nice if there was a balance of sick visits and physical exam visits available. Also, the front desk staff really needs to work on being more friendly.. I feel that they are always less than eager to help and when you call treat you as if you are a nuisance.
