Wow! Working with Nadezhda was amazing. I'm so glad we took our engagement photos with her! I…read moreactually had a rough experience with my make-up artist and hated my makeup for the photoshoot. I had wished that I wiped the makeup off and went natural instead, since it didn't highlight my features but actually made them worse. I told Nadezhda my concerns and she took the extra mile to photoshop out the eyeshadow so that it would look better. FAVORITE PARTS ABOUT WORKING WITH HER: - She's so kind and punctual. She met me on time, and listened to my concerns. - She was fast at returning the photos and making sure that I loved them before finalizing - She knows the great photo spots. She really does have an amazing eye for photography. - She worked with me on a spot we chose and did research beforehand so we would shoot in the best places. PARKING: TBD depending on spot you choose but she keeps this in mind. SERVICE: A+, I'd recommend her over and over again. She did my brother-in-law's photos too and they were absolutely stunning. PRICE: so reasonable for a wedding/event photographer! Overall, I highly recommend her as your photographer for any special occasion. She was so easy to work with and is humble, it just makes me want to support her!

We hired Elle last year for our baby shower and in home baby session. I really wish we had the…read morechance to experience the great photographer the other reviews speak of - unfortunately, we did not get the same experience. Elle was able to shoot our baby shower, some photos were nice but overall not bad. But things started to take a turn with our in-home session, I was due in October and Elle had to cancel our agreement a couple of months before. Stating that she needed to move back to LA, which I completely understood and she refunded our remaining amount. I texted her back wishing her the best of luck and she offered to send us some referrals. I said "great! please send them over" - She never responded. I had to reach out again, and instead of apologizing for her lack of response, she sent over a few photographers instagrams that she seemed to just pull from a list. No other comments - No mention of how she knew them or which one she knew personally, about their work, etc. Just spammed me a few instagrams. I was also so close to my due date that it was difficult to interview a new photographer. So we ended up not getting any in-home sessions for our newborn. Fast forward today, we happen to lose our photos so I reached out to Elle to see if she had them - we've worked with other photographers who keep photos for up to a year - so I reached out to have some small hope she might have them. She again, does not response, so I reach out again. Finally, I hear back. She did not have any backups - which is completely understandable. It was a long shot. But she quickly gets defensive and responses with a screenshot of the contract stating "PLEASE DOWNLOAD IMAGES WITHIN ONE WEEK. If you view our contract, the images should be downloaded and saved within one week. I have attached a screenshot of that portion of the contract. I do not keep galleries online indefinitely. Due to high costs for hard drive space and the number of galleries I have, I'm unable to save them for so long." As a new mom, Im already beating myself up for losing the photos. But Elle's response was completely insensitive and I had to miss out on getting newborn shots. It's very cold and distant behavior from someone we decided to hire to share family moments with. I understand the legal matters about the contract but she took the extra step to screenshot it and double down (which was completely unnecessary) about the contract which was very insulting. I also had to reach out to you TWICE - this isn't the first time where I reached out and she did not respond. My biggest regret is not picking a different photographer who was more professional and deliver better photos.
