I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.

I came in on Thursday for a dip manicure and regular pedicure. My appointment was for 5:15 and I got a text that my nail tech was running 15 min late because she was backed up. I go there at 5:30 and the front desk tells me that my nail tech will be done in 10 min. I was already a little annoyed. I didn't get seated till 6:30!!!!!! I work from 6am-4pm, I am exhausted by the end of the day. For them to have someone waiting an hour and 15 min after their scheduled appointment is very disrespectful. There policy states that after 10-15 min your services might not be guaranteed......well how about how long my nail tech takes. If they're only taking appointments and no walk-ins then I expect to be attended at the time I reserved. The service of this place is so great, the staff is nice and the owner is very sweet and front desk is very attentive.... but it's such a shame that they have no concept of time or care about how valuable someone's time is. . This needs to be an issue that gets fixed ASAP
