I rarely write reviews, but after saturdays event I felt it was long overdue and very well deserved. We have hired Danya, since our sons first birthday and for every event there after. This Saturday our son turned 8. We were so far behind on our preparations, (we make our own cakes and decorations) that when Danya arrived, we hadn't even showered. She told us not to worry to go get ready. Not only did she greet guest and set up the appetizers, she created appetizers from our pantry and refrigerator! Our main course was warmed up and displayed amazingly! She had her son with her and it was his first event, he was incredible, professional and resourceful! I was so amazed and grateful I could have cried tears of relief. Everyone comment how wonderful they were and some guest even thought she was family the way she moved around in our kitchen, which by the way was left spotless! I hired MBB to work at my wedding in January at the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach. From the moment I spoke to Danya, I could tell that the event would be in good hands. Danya was always available; she would respond to e-mails quickly and gave me her cell number (I only called a couple of times, she always answered). My wife and I were working on a tight budget and were going to need a lot of help. We hired MBB to help with the reception: setting-up, serving, bar-tending, and clean-up (yes... everything). They were great; they had a keen eye for details when it came to the set-up and amazing self-direction during the actual event. Even more impressive, though, was that when I ran late, Danya went above and beyond; she acted as my day-of coordinator and organized the the various on-site vendors and deliveries! Danya and her team were awesome!! Very professional and can really think on their feet. They anticipated our needs and helped us out tremendously. Our party was running a little behind when they arrived and they helped us clean up and get all the final pieces in place, organizing and putting away extras. We used the team for both bartending and service for 5 hours and they did everything from execute a special cocktail recipe for the guest of honor (perfectly!) that was the hit of the whole party, to running food to all the garbage cleanup. They were also flexible - I asked them to stay an extra hour, to make sandwiches, to set up chafing dishes - nothing fazed them and everything was to help us enjoy our guests more! Nothing but great things to say about this company. My fiance and I were looking for a bartender/server combo for our engagement party for 60 people in Coconut Grove. After our initial duo fell through two weeks before the party, we resorted to Google to try to find a suitable alternative. Miami Bartender Babes kept popping up but we thought it would be sexy bartenders more suited for bachelor parties rather than an engagement cocktail party at my future in-laws'. However, after nothing else seemed to fit the bill we finally gave in and looked into Miami Bartender Babes. After reading their reviews and going through their website we realized we were completely wrong. You can request what they wear-- anything from all black, to country club, to sexy, to black and white. We also saw that the bartender brings their own tools (something our previous place did not do), they give you a guide of what you should stock the bar with, etc. We only became more impressed with them during the booking process. It was easy to book online and specify exactly what we would be needing. Within 2 hours someone had reached out to us, answered all our questions, and processed our payment through PayPal. We were very impressed with how easy and professional the process was. We were able to book them for 4 hours for around $125, which we thought was a very fair price. Plus, if we wanted to add on time because people were hanging around longer than expected, we could add on for just $30/hour. Our server/bartender combo was Stephanie and Rosie. They were supposed to arrive half an hour before the party started. They ended up being about 15 minutes late, which did make me a little nervous at first (but also was not completely unexpected since we live in a house that can be rather hard to find in Coconut Grove) but that was made up for by how quickly they jumped into their roles the second they arrived. I hadn't even realized the bartender had arrived because she went straight to the bar and started getting everything set up without me even needing to show her where to go. She alerted me to things we should bring outside that we hadn't thought of (trash cans for the guests and not just the bartender, making beer and soda accessible in coolers so those people dont have to wait in line, etc.) and when I realized I had forgotten to buy mixing straws she whipped out a huge package of straws. Everything went completely smoothly. Drinks and food flowed freely and easily and guests were very complimentary of the service. Both the server and the bartender had fantastic attitudes. I was impressed start to finish with this company. Not only will I never use anyone else for a party in Miami, I will refer them with full confidence to friends and family (and fellow Yelpers).
