Grilled chicken Burrito Bowl

husband and I have dinned-in at the Resturant and even ordered food to go. Never had issue before until today. The food was horrible and not eatable. We ended up throwing away the food and just making premade mash potatoes in the microwave. The chicken wasn't grilled it was marinated it was salty oily. And the bag said bbq chicken when I had just asked for plain grilled chicken. Had to move the bbq chicken and big slices of lettuce and pico de gallo to see if there was even any rice or beans to begin with. The tortilla for the burrito we ordered tasted like fish and the rice had a weird chewy taste. It was disappointing. Regular Burrito and grilled chicken Burrito Bowl. Not good. We took are garbage bag out because our dinning area and chickens smelled of fish and oil. Zero would be my rating instead of 1 star.

Margarita
Ari M.

Went in for their great happy hour deal! Great margaritas, not too sweet not too sour. Came with chips and a really good not too spicy salsa. Was not expecting the super nachos to be as big and as delicious as they were, our expectations were blown away. Great little bar space and patio space if you are looking for a margarita and chips type of weekend.

Chips salsa beans

Flora sat us in a cozy booth, offering drinks right away. She knew the menu and offered advice on all of the items we asked about. The table chips came with salsa and beans that were tasty. The chips were perfect. The agua Fresca Jamaica was not too sweet and was refreshing. Quesabirrias was absolutely delicious. The chile rellano was as well. We will return, next time I look forward to the fried ice cream. It was lovey seeing all of the Katrinas and the marigolds for the upcoming holiday. 3.5% discount for cash was welcomed!

Gorgeous Catrina(Dia de Muertos)

This Mi Pueblo in Cotati serves up some really good food. I decided to forgo the beans & rice and order the 3 styles of enchiladas with shredded chicken. I figured the corn tortilla was enough carbs. Man, they were delicious, stuffed with mild spice chicken, covered with mole sauce, a red sauce and a green sauce. I ate two and took leftovers home. Wait I jumped the gun, before we ordered our entrees the kind waitress brought over chips and a dipping bean salsa, that was so good too. My friend ordered tamales, they enjoyed them and it was a great presentation too. The restaurant is very large with many areas to be seated. It is beautiful inside with lots of Mexican colors, and incredible Catrina(Dia De Muertos) decor, it is clean and very welcoming. Our waitress was a mature adult like me and my friend. You can tell she has lots of experience of keeping customer happy and coming back and we will.

Veggie burrito

Horrible very gross tasting burrito I always get it with no sauce on it and tortilla is watery in spots most the time and this time putting salsa on it ruin it I can't eat that I've always got my burrito with no sauce until now

Albondigas

My first time coming here with my girl and she got menudo and I got albondigas it was pretty good. The carne asada azteca was pretty good but we should've gotten the arrachera oh well next time. We like how much space there was and the ambiance it was also not too loud and crazy nice Friday night dinner hit the spot. We took home leftovers it was a lot of food that's what we liked the portions and price was awesome. Service was good also and this was pretty busy even on a very rainy weekend. I haven't tried any of the other locations but I like this spot right in Cotati. Starting to build up my list of decent Mexican restaurants and this is up there on my list. Definitely excited to come back and try their specials.

Super Burrito

Ended up ordering a burrito on DoorDash and it was good. I would not say it was amazing, because I have had better, but flavors were decent. One thing I wish it had was more sauce on top. Did come with chips and salsa, which is a plus. I think I would try it again but dine in instead.

Enchiladas were good, but I got double rice when I said no rice. So half my $20+ meal is going in the trash. (2 Items Combo)

We love Mi Pueblo Cotati. We probably go a few times a month, maybe even once a week. We love our regular server (usually Flora). But sadly something has changed. I noticed their ratings declining over the past year so I know something is up. The vibes are tense at the restaurant. Takeout orders - are correct about half the time. Tonight was yet another example. I clearly asked no rice with my combo & instead I got double rice. My debate... do I drive back 15 mins just for my beans?? Come on Mi Pueblo! Do better! We try to bring them more business and we only like the Cotati location but they are about to lose our business cause I'm tired of the carelessness & lack of effort by most of their employees.

Carne Asada Mi Pueblo
Jessica G.

I came in on a Tuesday afternoon when it wasn't busy at all, so I expected a bit more attention from the staff. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. It's always a tough call because not leaving a tip can feel rude, but I also believe tips should reflect the quality of service. That said, I still left a tip--I understand how tough things are in today's economy. Still, I don't think poor service is something customers should have to accept. On a positive note, the food was great--I had the Carne Asada Plate and really enjoyed it.

Carnita tostada
Sarah E.

Always a good time when we get to eat here. I got the big tostada but I honestly didn't think it was going to be THIS big. They should call the big A** tostada and then you really know what your getting! It was fantastic though.

Great food. I love their salsa. I tried the Chile Verde burrito and ordered a taco with Grand Marnier margarita, enjoyed all of it.

I had arrived earlier for my reservation and asked if I could be accommodated and be seated earlier. She had me wait a few minutes to see if my request could be met and she was able to make it happen. Once seated, I was greeted by a server who was great during my time there. As a starter, I ordered the ICEBERG WEDGE which was BIG! It was topped with bacon, tomatoes, red onions, chives, little butter croutons, and Maytag Blue Cheese dressing. It was really good. For the main, I ordered the 630 PARK SIGNATURE PRIME RIB. I explained to the server that I want the prime rib cooked medium rare. I CANNOT enjoy or eat a prime rib or steak that's cooked medium or well done. He said he'd make sure it was cooked to my liking and he sure did! It came out a perfect medium rare! It was a thick cut that could be split between 2 people. It was served with whipped potatoes which unfortunately cannot be subbed out for a baked potato. The whipped potatoes were good though. Buttery and creamy. *Nice dim lighting feels inside. Great for a date either before or after a show at the EVENT. I went to the Khelani concert so if you do have a reservation let anyone who will be attending know the time too because the Graton WiFi was not working and my cell phone service went to SOS. Horrible. Understandable for a big event (for a casino) but if I ever did that again, I'd set up a meeting time and place with anyone who is supposed to be there at the restaurant.

Our waiter (Carlos) had a smart aleck attitude that we did not appreciate the whole evening. His lack of attentiveness to his guest was appalling. First, we ordered the lobster chowder to start. We were served French Onion Soup instead. I complained to Carlos and his response was "yes, we brought you the wrong soup but the French Onion Soup is excellent" We didnt want French Onion Soup!! A bus boy corrected the order. Then Carlos disappeared and we couldn't find him so we had to ask the bus boys and other waiters to help us with anything we needed. I asked another waiter what happened to Carlos? His reply "Carlos went home". Okay, if he went home then who is our waiter? I thought, "shouldn't he tell us that he was leaving and a different waiter would be taking care of our table?" Twenty minutes later I see Carlos returning to our table I asked him "what happened, they said you went home?". He made no apology and said "i had to put out a fire because the credit card machine wasn't working". I understand that technical problems happen, but no apology and smart aleck comments are not acceptable. If he was preoccupied with the credit card machine then another waiter should have covered our needs, not lying to us in saying our waiter went home!! Finally we asked for boxes for our left overs, he hands us 3 boxes and leaves. At the table next to us, their waiter boxed the left overs and placed them in a bag for them. This is what I would expect at a high end restaurant. So I yell across the room at Carlos "Can I get a bag for our left overs?" Again Carlos's smart aleck response was "Sure I can bring 1,2 or 3" he yells across the room. In conclusion we loved the food and atmosphere of the restaurant, but one bad apple can ruin the entire experience.

The oysters were pristine and briny, and the martini, properly chilled and balanced, set a confident tone. The bar staff were polished, attentive, and engaging without ever being intrusive. Once seated, the experience continued seamlessly. We selected seared scallops and butterfish, complemented by a range of classic sides, baked potato, etc. The scallops were expertly executed, caramelized to a delicate crust while maintaining a tender, almost buttery interior. The butterfish lived up to its name, rich and silky, with a depth of flavor that lingered pleasantly. What stood out most was the cohesion of the dishes. The sauces, in particular, were layered and thoughtfully composed. They were so compelling that, by the end of the meal, we found ourselves savoring every last drop with bread, unwilling to leave anything behind, all while enjoying a steady cadence of well-crafted martinis. Service throughout was seamless and professional, striking the right balance between attentiveness and restraint. The atmosphere carried a lively yet refined energy, well-suited for both intimate dinners and celebratory evenings. Starks delivers a dining experience that is both polished and indulgent, one that justifies a deliberate visit rather than a casual stop.

Lots of little touches of snail decor around the restaurant is really cute. I've had their ahi Niçoise salad and it is excellent. The potatoes and ahi were a surprisingly good combo for me. Oysters are a refreshing appetizer but I recommend the frog legs (tastes almost like a very lightly fried thinner chicken wing). I often paired it with a side of mushrooms. My family has gotten a variety of their menu. Onion soup is good and ahi tartare is great to share and munch. Warmed baguette bread and butter are always available. They have such good appetizers I think they even beat out the entrees. But I can say their steak and poulet/chicken frites are not bad too. I'm very glad they can do substitutions for the frites with roasted vegetables and got my poulet with green beans instead which still were a good pairing for the meat. Desserts are great too to share and finish your meal. Creme brûlée is standard in a lot of places and theirs hits the mark but I love Augie's Crepe Suzette more! A tangy orange based crepe topped with vanilla ice cream with bits of crispy orange bits throughout. I hope I come back again to try more dishes. A lovely spot in downtown.
