There's definitely a major language barrier but she gives one of the best facials I've ever had! She has a massage therapy license as well and she really focuses on massaging throughout which feels amazing!! I usually get the basic facial and it's wonderful, I'll definitely be coming back. I've seen her since 2017, and she was closed during the pandemic, so glad to see her again. read more

Worse extractions with a good massage ... Yes, she layers many products on you. Yes, she is friendly. Yes, she's always asking "are you ok"? Best facial I've ever received? Hardly ... Mi works on your face with lightening speed which made it difficult for my already hard to relax a#* to actually relax. Purchased a deep pore cleansing facial via Groupon thinking that would include extractions. Hello, deep pore? Wrong! Extractions is another $20 which she is horrible at. She literally removed the whole top layer of my skin leaving it raw and I left with clear liquid still oozing out of the area she worked on. Although I paid the extra $20 for extractions, she only worked on my problem area, my right chin. My nose and forehead was touched for maybe 10 seconds. She will also try to sell you the LED to minimize the spread of bacteria. When paying, she made sure to advise the service does not include tip. I will say her massage is better than her facial. She definitely can switch to massaging if the whole facial thing does not work out. She also has an obsession with cleaning your ears. If your gonna come, get a regular facial with no extractions. Parking - street via meter Located upstairs above a workout studio. Yes, you will hear the loud music and the instructors screaming through the microphone. Happy getting your face unprofessionally extracted!! read more

First time getting a facial and let me just say this was the most relaxing and only experience I've had so far. Kindly like to state I ran across this place due to a coupon purchase I made through a website! I'd like to begin with the fact that there is no parking structure/lot designated for this place. Street parking is available, however it looks like you need to have a permit of some sort? I assume it's just for the residents of this neighborhood. I parked off of 3rd and Fairfax behind the Citibank bank there and walked a block over which wasn't so bad. NOTE: due to the parking situation please arrive early so you can enjoy your 1hr+ appointment to it's full extent!! I believe I met Kim, she was very kind and talkative through the whole experience she kept asking if I was comfortable and spoke to me a little about what she was doing to my face. There's nothing better than feeling like your comfort matters and she did just that, made sure I was comfortable and enjoying my experience every step of the way. For an additional $20 she did a few extractions (guess my face wasn't that bad) but let me tell you! Everything was okay until she got to my nose. Extractions can be a little painful! Lol! I rate her service 5 stars without hesitation. However due to the parking situation, I'm giving the overall experience 4 stars. read more

I discovered Mi and Kim Salon through Groupon - scheduling was very easy, I was able to make an appointment for the next day (text is her preferred way of communication). I had the best facial massage experience ever at this place. In addition to the great massage the facial in and or if self was great. I have troubled skin/acne. After taking a look at my skin she recommended that I pay an additional $30 for a the deep cleansing facial which I was happy to do. Two days later my breakouts have dried up and my face is glowing - I will definitely be back. *note - parking is difficult I recommend parking across the street at Trader Joe's. read more

I have been facial while my life. I am 60 years old. I have been coming here 3 month now! I got 10 times package! My face is getting smaller every time I get facial from her. I don't believe in face lift surgery! I believe in kongllak facial massage lift face is better! read more

Mi is amazing. I have been doing facials for a long time and all the products she uses are organic and the instruments extremely professional. Plus, as rarely happens, Mi will take care of you with a neck massage while applying a facial mask instead of leaving you in the room alone for 10 mins. Definitely coming back. Thank you Mi read more

I'm a celebrity makeup artist and I love to keep my skin as perfect as possible. Over the years I've encountered amazing FACIALIST but Mi has honestly been the BEST. Her face massage technique is amazing, and her over all process is very clean and effective. I'm recommending all of my clients and friends to her. Also, she's very affordable. Please tip her well! read more

I purchased a Groupon for two facials. Usually, if I don't know the place, I wouldn't commit to several visits, but this time I decided that two is better than one and I'm glad I did! I had an absolutely amazing experience. It's not a medical-grade facial, it's a spa-like treatment with massaging. I added extractions for $20 but would not get them again. I believe facials should include them and they should always be done by hand rather than a tool. I'm not sure what ear cleaning the previous reviewer was talking about, I didn't get that:) Also she didn't try to up-sell me or ask for tips one bit. No loud music from the studio below either. read more

I just saw Kim for the 3rd time and boy am I glad I did! She transforms my skin every time I see her. Every time I have a breakout I go to her and instantly my breakout clears up the next day. She is personable and fair priced. She tells me what I need and her treatments really work. I'm constantly complimented on my complexion and how young I look. Her upgrades are worth every penny. I upgraded to a derma plane vitamin C facial and I had a very relaxing experience. She used hot stones to give me a massage. I love her machines and the hot and cold machine seems to do wonders as well as the microdermabrasion machine. The electrical current facewand is excellent. I can't believe her prices are so fair and I'm fortunate to have found this budget friendly place as we all know that great facials in Los Angeles run from $200-$300. Another plus. After seeing her I use significantly less makeup bc she literally just makes your skin flawless. Go see her. read more

After seeing the changes on my sisters skin from her encounter with this place, I decided to give it a try. First off, booking is really convenient and quick because the facialist is easy to reach and she responds promptly. Second, its street parking but I always find a meter right in front. I had Kim and she was just wonderful. She is very kind, sweet, and accommodating. She gives you a brief massage and wow, it gives me chills. I haven't been on yelp for a cool minute but I had to for this gem. I got two facials from Kim so far and my skin has been clearing up so quick! My skin began breaking out a few weeks ago and I was really stressed out as I've never really dealt with acne before. Kim worked her magic and my skin has been actually glowing.. It still needs a bit more time but i'm so happy with the progress. She also offered a lot of tips that i've been following and i've seen changes since. This place is amazing, affordable, and my new favorite facial spot. read more

I booked an appointment over the telephone. She asked me to send her a photo of my Groupon voucher via text, which I did. The day before my appointment, she texts me to tell me my voucher is expired--which I already knew. But you are able to use expired vouchers for the original price you paid (in my case, $40) then you just pay the difference. She refused to accept Groupon's terms and conditions so I cancelled my appointment. I've come to see that she now marked my expired Groupon as "redeemed" even though she NEVER provided any services. Please see text conversation attached for how that went. I was able to get a refund from Groupon. Don't waste your time with this lady. read more

I bought a groupon for facial. And during facial, she informed me about how good vitamin mask is. I thought she was just informing me. I never said that i wanted to add that. But she ended up adding it to my facial and charged me additinal $30. So when i told her i never said that i wanted it, she told me she ASSUMED that i said yes... i felt like i got tricked. overall facial was okay. But if you are looking for peaceful relaxing facial, it's not that place. There is pilates gym next door and it has classes going on so it was very noisy. I couldnt enjoy quiet peaceful moment. read more

This was my first ever facial. I felt very comfortable from the beginning all the way to the end. The facial was very relaxing at times and lasted over and hour. I say at times because it was a deep pore facial and of course I felt it- but in all the best ways. I'm going to return at least once a month to keep it up. I'm so happy I decided to give it a try. And the groupon coupon made it affordable and it was an easy experience. :) very happy. Thanks read more

Mi is amazing! She's very precise and goes really in depth of your skin. I had my very first deep pore facial and it was amazing I felt amazing after and she included a head neck and shoulder massage. She did my extractions which I had ALOT she tried her best to get a lot out and she was successful but I feel like if I go back one more time I need deeper extractions around my nose. Mi is very kind and hard working she puts in a lot of effort when she does your facial and you can see the results. My face neck and chest are very moisturized. I will be back to try the led lift care which she recommended for me. I wish I had more cash so I could leave a bigger tip. But I will be back! read more

Amazing facial!!! Kim she's adorable , I feel my face soft like a baby ...thank you so mucho

Kim does an amazing job. I came to her for a complete facial and the results were wonderful.

I am not a fan of facials, therefore I do not get them frequently. However, there was a great deal on Groupon so I tried it. Mi provided an amazing services and I am now wanting facial treatments on a regular basis. Her service is by far the best I have ever had. She is very attentive- nothing she did was halfass job and she was not frugal with products being used. I was there for 90mins. My skin is luminous now and forward to better looking skin :) read more

I NEVER write yelp reviews, but I had to log in and let the world know how wonderful this facial was. Mi was so helpful and funny. It was almost two hours and the massage was the icing on the cake. I left immediately wanting to book again. read more

Best facial I've ever had. Hands down. She really took her time and was super thorough. I got the deep pore facial, which includes a face and shoulder massage. The extraction was virtually painless. She talked to me about what skincare products I should be using and changes I needed to make in my regimen. I got my first peel a week before and it broke me out so badly. She told me I should never get a peel because it opens the skin up to bacteria. I wish I'd known this a week earlier! I woke up the next morning with clear glowing skin. Made another appointment in two weeks. Kim is my new aesthetician! read more

I just came back from MI & Kim Skin Care. I Signed up for Deep Pore Cleaning Facial- my skin felt so good after I wanted to write review. I've been to many skin care places over the years and I'll put MI&Kim Skin Care in my top 3. Kim was a very professional skin specialist- warm and friendly. One of the best facials I've ever had! They take their time and are not frugal with products at all. She definitely tried to help you and your skin. So sweet I will be coming back! read more

Mi is the absolute best all around! I have acne prone and dry skin, and she's been saving my skin ever since I started going to her. Ive been getting deep cleansing facials with acne care, and my skin has shown significant improvement since I started going to her. It's been my third visit to Mi in about a month and a half, and I've already scheduled my fourth. She is so thorough and knows exactly what your skin needs. My skin is incredibly hard to manage and maintain but I can feel my skin breathe every time after I go to her. Her massages during the facial are also amazing. Skin is something that you really have to trust someone with - but you won't regret going to Mi. I absolutely love her! She will take care of you and your skin. My complexion has gotten better, my skin is more moisturized, my acne has reduced, and my skin is less red and irritated - all thanks to Mi! If you aren't ready to take the leap, try Groupon first! But seriously you won't regret going to Mi! I'm a dedicated and loyal customer now. You and your skin are worth the investment. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here--I had the gold facial and it was AMAZING. The massage and acupressure was both invigorating and relaxing and my skin was absolutely glowing afterwards. The space was beautiful and clean and the customer care was first rate. Whether you live in LA or are visiting from out of town and need to decompress from smog and traffic, treat yourself to a spa day here--you won't regret it! Very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend it--and would like to try the eyelash extensions at some point too! read more

Mi is the very best! I went on a Groupon and wish I had bought the two session, then went back and will keep going because she is so amazing at what she does. She is intuitive and knows exactly what my skin needs every time. She brings techniques - I think maybe they're South Korean - that some facialists here don't know. The reason she works quickly is that so she can fit so many things into one facial and has so much knowledge, using various masques and even electricity. I don't understand the negative review below, so read all the positive ones to get a fuller sense of what she does. Her touch is just right and she is sweet and so much fun to be around. Try what she suggests - she will know what is right for your skin. I get so many compliments after every facial! Her Groupon is still running - I would buy it before it ends because it is such a bargain for her expertise and everything she puts into a facial! And, by the way, she is Mi and Kim! read more
