Transitioning from a position I worked in for 5 years, during a pandemic with only the assurance…read morethat I believed enough to invest in myself was terrifying. Latanya Showers was comforting in her responsive time answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. Latanya was able to extract all my best traits based on my experience. Reflecting my accomplishments, achievements and career growth while making me a standout candidate. I signed up for OMG Resumes with the hope that I would find a career that offers longevity; however, I have been employed for so long the steps needed to be taken were foreign to me. She painstakingly walked me through the entire process making me aware of my professional quality's, and my worth as an employee. To be honest I had to reread the resume several times to realize it was about me. That is how amazing it is! I resigned from the position, Latanya wrote my resume, and I had another Job I enjoy making more money in 1 week. I'm still receiving job offers. Sometimes its not a great idea to do it yourself! DIY is not for everything! Invest in yourself! Allow Latanya to encourage an employer to invest in you!

When I started my resume professional search to help me on my job hunt, I came across YELP and read…read morethe review below for OMG Resume. I laughed as it seemed too good to be true. I gave OMG Resumes a call and scheduled a meeting. The price was reasonable and was the best $$ I've ever spent. The review below as well as mine is 100% spot on. These resumes will lead to multiple job interviews at the least and potentially multiple job offers as in my case. I had a resume which when submitted resulted in no return phone calls but I also needed help with the cover letter. Devon met with me, I took her the job postings of the jobs I was interested in. In about 2 days I had my first drafts which were pretty much final versions. I applied on Monday Feb 4th, a week later I had a call to schedule an interview on Friday Feb 15th and had the job offer Friday Feb 22. In a matter of 3 weeks my career trajectory and life has changed and I landed a job with a major University with substantial career opportunities and tuition coverage for my family. Seriously this was the best $ i've ever spent. Devon will work wonders and make sure your resume and cover letter will catch the eyes of the reviewer. With the resume and cover letter, I applied for 6 positions, I had 3 interviews (one interview covered 4 positions with the same company) and two job offers on the same day. I had another interview scheduled but I will have cancel it as I have the job I wanted. Thanks Devon!

While I already held several certifications, I was there to update and exceed my prior knowledge and abilities. I was offered the opportunity to update the very entry level certifications as I began my tenure. I was already preparing the mock-lecture I would need to submit as a teaching candidate. Then this opportunity was snatched away with the send-off that I was unqualified. When I inquired further, I was summarily dismissed and told to come back when I had completed the qualification. I later discovered, by speaking directly to the hire, that the job was given to a white student. I cordially asked him to share his experience. He detailed the exact certifications I was told I needed, and had held for years. Finally, I asked this man, fresh into the industry and confronting the certifications for the 1st time, if he already had his certifications. To which he replied that he was allowed to complete them after taking the job. Naturally I saved every record of this interaction. This company is a bullshit organization, which, in addition to apparently being populated by racists, has no problem failing its promises in supporting a student, contrary to what was stated as their supporting role in my education. Calls and emails that went unanswered for weeks, repeated inquiries left unresolved with no follow-up, people who support you leaving the company with no announcement or handoff of the students they support, and their issues, to other staff .... But if half of what's claimed in the self-congratulatory jerk-circle on LinkedIn is true, then one bad review shouldn't matter anyway. Clearly the possibility of a bad report was not of importance when I needed aid.

I had used other consultants in the past that were not as organized or knowledgeable and needless to say, they did not deliver positive results.
