Meyer Werft is a big dockyard. Currently they are famous in Germany for building big cruise ships. They are also famous because the dockyard is not close to the sea, but at a river and the ships have to be guided to the sea with a lot of caution. We did the normal guided tour. First we saw two movies about the history and current pictures of the ships. Then we got to know how the ships are build, where the ships are currently, we saw some models of ships and we were able to have a look through big windows to see how the ships are built in reality. The tour was nice but we would have loved a bit more detailed information.
