So, I prayed and then bet on Jerry Scher. And Boy Am I Glad That I Did! It turns out that not only did God tell me to work with Jerry, but he ended up being my Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, and Workers Comp attorney! I got three for the price of one like the unheard of buy one, get two free sale (well not really, but... you understand ). Of course, I was exaggerating a little bit, as he and his wonderful staff need to be paid appropriately on each case. Anyway, early on I was told that an injury like mine could possibly worsen as time goes on, and it most definitely did. And even though some of my injuries slowly started to improve, month by month my back pain seemed to increase in severity. Per the doctors, I now have permanent nerve / spine damage, and they feel that I will never be 100% again.
