The staff didn't really acknowledge the mistake or offer a good solution to order the drink without waiting in line again. I tried waiting once more but gave up after about 7 minutes (that part was on me). On a positive note, they had nice cold ice water that I ended up getting instead after I realized they weren't willing to start making the smoothie until I got through the line to order knowing I was looking at 7-10 more minutes.

First of all, it was not toasted. At all. It was mushy bread topped with mushy avocado and zero texture. If you are going to call something avocado toast, the toast part is not optional. That is literally half the name. What made the whole thing even more bizarre was the way they were moving. The vibe was giving empire level importance. Like they were serving a Michelin tasting menu instead of lukewarm breakfast plates. The pacing, the seriousness, the attitude did not match the food whatsoever. It was honestly confusing to watch. And yes, I did say something when the food came out cold because that matters. Do not let cold food slide. What did they do? Put it in the microwave. Immediately obvious. The potatoes should have been on a grill with oil and heat. Instead they came back tasting reheated and sad. That is not fixing the problem, that is confirming it. Overall this was a waste of money and a waste of time, and the only reason I'm even writing this is because people deserve to know. I will not be going back. I do not recommend it. And if you find yourself here with cold food, just know they are not remaking anything, they are reheating it. Sometimes a bad review is not hate, it is public service. This one is absolutely that.

He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don't tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn't say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn't completely blow my mind, it's still a beautiful spot with solid service. We ordered our food, but it took 25 minutes for the server to bring out the guacamole and chips, and the elotes took even longer. The main dishes took around 45 minutes to arrive. I ordered a skirt steak cooked well done, but it came out burned on the outside and medium-rare on the inside. I had shrimp fajitas, and my wife had a steak quesadilla. Our toddler didn't eat anything; he just had water. We all drank water and no other beverages. The next morning, we all experienced vomiting and severe diarrhea. Now we're on antibiotics prescribed by our doctor, as the symptoms lasted more than 48 hours. I will never return to this restaurant. Please be cautious and don't trust this place
