The results were spectacular!…read more Lois took a look at our house and made several recommendations on how to get it ready for sale. At one point she asked, "When will you be ready to list this house?" I replied that I was ready immediately- and she responded with, "Oh no, you're not!" She was absolutely right. We spent about $10K on improvements to the house, including paint, carpet, new doors, and most importantly a new HVAC system to replace the functional but 38 year-old system that caused multiple service techs to burst out laughing when they first saw it. The net result of the $10K I spent was a $10K increase in the initial listing price- so I got 100% value for what I spent. But it gets better: We received THREE offers the first day the house was on the market, and had a bidding war! We ended up selling for $7500 OVER list price. I can't recommend Lois enough- hire her, and follow her advice.
