I also had my title in hand (just in case) with the address that matches my policy. The counter person was so unfriendly and borderline rude to me, no one was in the branch but me and its 3+ hours until closing time... so it's not like I snuck in at the last moment. I agree with the other customer's feedback of giving this branch 1 star. I never receive poor service in any other AAA branch. If you aren't happy at AAA, get a new job, but do all of us a favor, don't appy for customer service positions.

I went there to get my IDL (international drivers license) and the person was not in....I needed it ASAP because I had an unexpected business trip the next day- 18 hours notice. So they sent me to the one in Merrillville. I went there and their ink they use to mark the edges of the photo once attached wouldn't dry and smeared off the photo. Thusly, it looked like someone removed the original photo and placed a new one....those idiots couldn't figure out why their ink was not working (gee- maybe because it was wet ink and not dry ink...duh). Anyway, I had already paid for it and they (still in Merrillville) couldn't figure out how to give me a refund because the IDL books are tracked unlike the photos which are not. Since they couldn't complete my request they called the Mishawaka branch to see if the only person in the branch who can glue a photo in a paper book and stamp it (the IDL) was back in but they closed in 90mins.....no apologies, no ensuring if I sped there she would stay to accommodate me if I was late....I made it with a few minutes to spare. She was rude, condescending, and didn't even offer to give me a break on the cost because of how much they suck and the fact only ONE person in the office can do this simple job a one armed blind monkey could do. I would NEVER go back to Mishawaka AAA and I would never join AAA based upon that experience. What a joke. With gas and tolls- not to mention blowing 5 hours of a day I needed to pack for a last minute trip, you'd think they'd offer me a discount if not a full refund- something...anything???? Nothing. Just an attitude. With that said, at least the Merrillville office was kind enough to refund my passport photos required for the IDL.....but that still doesn't take away from their incompetence for not having the right ink. Thank god I checked the one they gave me in merrillville B4 I left the parking lot or else I would have been screwed big time overseas. It looked like a forged document. So AAA Mishawaka sucks. No one should go there until the idiots are fired and replaced with polite, professional and competent staff- and they train others to glue a photo in a paper book and stamp the 4 corners. AAA Merrillville are incompetent but nicer and hopefully now have their ink situation fixed. If you have the time unlike I did, save the stress and risk and go to the St. Joseph Michigan Branch. Never had an issue there and have been there 3 times for IDLs and there is always someone there who can do it as of May 2011 which I just got my latest one. Lastly the story above was from summer of 2008. I went back in fall of 2009 to Mishawaka to get another IDL (since its so close) and they again could not do it because the only person that could do it was off that day. That is when I went to the one in St. Joseph. That's the only place I'd go or recommend in the greater South Bend area. Peace-

I was to submit my information and pick it up my returns when notified. Korhorn claim they've been undercharging for many years. As they are financial planners, this doesn't reflect well their abilities. And it should be clear, I understand raising fees, but not more than doubling them. They told me I wouldn't be able to find anyone to do it cheaper. I not only found a firm that charges a reasonable price -- they prepared my taxes without filing an extension. I'm disappointed in Korhorn, and I feel they could have handled this better. They've lost my business and I've lost my confidence in them. This is my experience and my opinion only.
