I'm very pleased with the care we received at Metropolitan: we made a late night visit with a suddenly sick dog and were tired and anxious. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Emily the Vet Tech was a treasure. She's an asset to the team and she made a long night better in all of our interactions. The vet, Dr. Fagan, was thorough and helpful. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Durand and her assistant Allison. They were both incredibly professional and made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care. They were thorough and explained each step of the procedure to me and answered any questions I had. My dog also has a heart condition and is 14 years old so I was worried about him going under for dental extractions. I could not be more happy with my decision to take my pup to Dr. Durand. My dog has had plenty of other dental extractions before (at a general vet) and he's always seemed very uncomfortable for days after the procedure when I've brought him home. He would stay up all night coughing and it would take a while for him to act normal. This was not the case after I took him to Metro Vet. Not only was there no coughing throughout the night (only a few coughs the first night but it was very minimal), but he also acted like his spunky self and didn't even act like he just had extractions done. They even trimmed his nails while he was under at no cost which was such a wonderful surprise. I truly can't thank Dr. Durand and her staff enough for the impeccable care they gave to my little guy. So incredibly thankful to Metro Vet and the team! read more

There has been a need for a radio station to serve the interests and needs of the conservative…read morecommunity in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. WFYL 1180AM has filled that need. Over the airwaves, it is a "daytimer" station where you can receive the signal clearly from your car radio or home. When I'm home, I just stream it live through my PC which is perfect. They do program through live streaming, but the radio airwave signal is daytime only. I can also get them on my smartphone. They even have an app for convenieince. In the mornings it is live and local then the day line-up is Laura Ingraham, the king of talk radio in my humble opinion, Dennis Miller, Phil Valentine, Rodger Hedgecock, in that order. I like the classic Philadelphia call letters of WFYL, which they have called "Working For Your Liberty". This station is the true positive talk radio with a nice Judeo Christian edge. I would like more people to know about them. Intelligent radio, period.

Featuring community events, the township calendar, and "Gram's Recipies" (just a few treasures of the this new Paoli based free newspaper), The Paoli Post captures what is most valued by the locals - photographs of local folks winning awards, food drives, information on local churches - and, in my opinion, truly has what it takes to win the hearts of the community. With 5,000 copies distributed monthly to the residents of Paoli, Malvern, Berwyn and the surrounding communities (3,800 mailed directly to Paoli residents), The Paoli Post is sure to be read and attract small business advertisers in the area with its homespun appeal.
