But was never called back to the desk to check in, yet other patients were. I walked back over to the desk and was asked my last name but then the receptionist then started speaking to a other patient and asked her to spell her last name and then checked her in first. She then got on the phone and called someone else in the office and told them to put this other patient next, I suppose not realizing who I was. She then tells me that the Dr is "running a little behind". I ask "how little?" And was told to go have lunch and come back. WTF??? I heard great things about this Dr but I'm not sure that I'll be coming back after lunch!!! There was a person here who has been waiting a ln hour and a half for him. This is unacceptable! I understand that emergencies come up but at least CALL the later appts and give people the opportunity to reschedule before driving all the way over to the office.

Also the follow up questions or care they contact you back same day and I was amazed for NY. Would recommend %100.

She is thorough, kind, compassionate, patient, and truly excellent at what she does. She has such a warm and reassuring way about her. The lab at this practice is also phenomenal. Getting blood work done on a child is never easy, but they make the experience as smooth and gentle as possible. Even though we travel from Connecticut, it's more than worth it because of the outstanding care we receive. Dr. Kopple is always so responsive--when we message her through the patient portal, she gets back to us the same day, which means we rarely even need to call the office. When someone is in an emergent state and worried, you want to be surrounded with compassionate and caring people, and I experienced the complete opposite. My husband needed to come here and although he was the patient, as his wife, I figured I'd get some sort of greeting or direction as to where I should/could wait. Not one person spoke to me throughout the entire visit. I had to be the one to say "have a good night" when leaving to each person. I understand hospitals have strict restrictions on visitors still but there's a way to let someone know that. They called my husband to the back to get his vitals done and I wasn't sure if I could go with him or not, so I followed behind him and asked "can I come or should I stay" and the RN rudely said "have a seat" and slammed the door in my face. The nurse eventually came to get me and just said "come" and brought me to the "room" my husband was in. It wasn't even a room, it was a chair in a hallway. The doctor was nice but he didn't introduce himself at all, he just approached and I was confused and had to look at his name tag to figure out why he was approaching and speaking to us. Long story short, avoid this place.
