I used to love this place. As a teenager, I could not wait until I turned 14 - the minimum at that time. Now, of course, things have changed. What used to be a well-segmented and very low-priced heaven for professionals is now at best a mediocre overpriced bulk volume seller. Whatever we bought was not worth the money - from their "fresh truffle" (from China - yuk!) to mussels (rotten) and christmas candles (broken, could only be seen after unwrapping at home). Tried to give a second chances - asked the product specialist, who said they only carry cheap china truffle - and well - that's what you get - he said. He even recommended Otto-Gourmet.com - the only nice experience we had while shopping. As you know, we have a brutal lockdown in Germany where everyone recommends to stay home. Still, I have never seen so many families with small kids outside Toys R us. I wowed to never return. read more
