I came in to the store with my mother to get access to her account since her phone got broken and there were no other options but to go in store for help. The manager and her employee were unhelpful, giggled when my mother had to call customer support because she struggles with English, and were completely unprofessional. If you want to hear two women talk about their Target shopping trip, gossip and show each other TikToks, then this is the place for you. Even the lady I called from customer support apologized for their behavior. Though another employee being trained was very kind to me and my mother. Sold me a $300 bad phone where the battery drains to zero within half an hour. When I came to exchange it for a phone that works, I was told despite a ONE YEAR WARRANTY, I couldn't exchange because it wasn't in PERFECT condition because of a small scratch on the side. My phone had been having problems, and I wasn't sure if it was due to my SIM card or their Network or my phone and all I wanted to do was ask a question. However they stared at me through the glass well myself and my friend pulled on the lock door and we called the store and heard the phone ring and they ignored it. I would have been willing to upgrade my phone and buying new phone I have worked in retail my entire life and I've never closed a store early when there were three employees there I have left early myself and let another person close the store but whatever the highest ranking store member was of that three has a responsibility to either the proprietor who owns that shop or the company and when she puts on that Metro PCS shirt and steps into that store to all customers of MetroPCS and T-Mobile. But given the location of the store very close to Granite Bay and Rocklin in a rich part of Roseville next to the Galleria I can see how they may have thought that they could close the store early cuz they were bored or on wanted to do something else or whatever maybe and not enough customers were coming in for them but they could have made $700. If there is any store owner looking for someone with actual work ethic I'll leave my email at the bottom of the page. And if the owner of that store wants to fire those employees and hire me I guarantee you I could run it 20 times better. I have been a customer of Metro PCS for the last 8 years, but I cancelled my multi-phone account after my recent experience. I upgraded to the new REVVL V+ 5G Phone. (POS) I bought it ourright for $200 and had problems with it from the start. They offered to exchange it with the same model, but I would have to wait for 3 to 5 days. I could not wait that long for a replacement, so I bought another phone from T-Mobile and ported the number I had for the last 20 years. I've been with Metro for years and I'm so unhappy with the way this company has changed and their products. They told me to send my photos to my email so I wouldn't lose them when purchasing a new phone. They didn't just lose all my photos they lost most of my contacts and the new equipment didn't work properly at all. The cord to charge it is included but they don't include the plug anymore. The new cord was faulty, they knew it and made me buy a new one instead of replacing the faulty one I just purchased. After 7-8 trips back and forth and paying for everything in advance (not on Metro account) I go to pay me t bill this morning and they have a charge on my account from last month. I went over all this with the agent and she just kept saying in sorry you don't like your phone and all the trouble you've had with it and the service but the charge is legitimate and you have to pay it. This is a corporate store and not an authorized dealer... there is a difference! You can come here and actually get help with your account. I had something not jiving on my statement and tried chatting with Metro PCS online and got nowhere after 30 minutes. They referred me to the corporate store which happens to be where I bought my phones a few years back and also had a good experience. As much as I dislike Metro PCS in general I have to write a review for Chris at this store. He was so knowledgable and patient figuring out what had happened on my statement and was able to articulate it to me. I usually go to the little hole in the wall metro pcs store by my house but lately they have been rude and no help at all. I had an appointment at Sutter and saw the metro across the street. I decided to go in there, the young lady Paea was oh so helpful. I had so many things going on with my phone, she cleared it out and was able to even get my bill lower. Shes very knowledgeable, and kind. A delight to work with, she partnered with Cody and got everything done in 15 mins. I have been a customer of Metro Pcs for over 4 yrs until August 4, 2021 I liked the service . I have been paying for years fir a replacement warranty on my cell phone I accidentally dropped my cell and broke it . The warranty I have you pay a 50 dollar deductible. Here is where I had the worst service of any company I have ever had for cell service . I have cancer and I'm betting it . After 1st week of Aug I received cell . I was very ill at times and just didn't handle it till beginning October. In October I called maybe 15 times. Letting them know I am ill I need them to replace the cell I pd the deductible I was treated horribly they weren't kind told.me I didn't have a account ever with them . Told me my bill was a month late when. I paid a week early and had been a customerfor 4 years never have I complained before . I made the mistake to call around 530 pm and they would transfer me every night to start all over . All I could say service was great till I had a problem they just can't provide customer service to keep a customer and won't refund unless you demand . I couldn't get service in broken phone they sent to replace that I of deductible for they just couldn't get it together . They could not figure out why no service every call dropped no data or not enough data to hold a call . There good till something goes wrong . I left . And demanded refund from my bank just townwarn even their own shop in Auburn said just get another carrier . But customer service didn't care if I had service they kept reminding me months I needed to pay when I had said I'm not in contract and why pay for service when you took 3 months you owe me not reverse . I was finished paying for nothing with non service it was just time to demand refund I asked my bank November 24th and left metro . read more

I love this store. They are not on commission so their help is really good. The staff is well-trained and pleasant. I have never had to wait for help and we have bought at least six phones there. I see lots of elderly people there to get help so that is a good sign. The staff are super nice about helping with your phone and solving problems. I visited this metro store today, as I wished to buy a new phone. I've been in this store before and it's always clean and the staff is helpful. Today, however, the atmosphere was a little off. The music was a little loud and, even worse, it wasn't in English. All the workers in there and every customer that came in to the store were speaking English. It would make sense that the store's radio system should be playing English. The music seemed to pose more of a disturbing distraction than any kind of a soothing nature. There are three great points about this store. Location, low traffic, knowledgeable staff. About once a quarter I go in to find if they have a better program then verizon....so far for my needs I am still with Verizon. We got Samsung galaxy notes with a year free of Amazon Prime. At first I didn't believe the deal because it was too good to be true but it was TRUE! This is a good location because it is centrally located in the busy Rocklin area, right across from college, it's clean and the employee was fast and efficient. Can't say he was super friendly, but I was in a massive hurry so him being super-speedy at getting my new phone setup was of great importance that day. One thing I can say is this location did not have a ton of higher-end phone options, but rather stocked up on the cheaper models.. I'm guessing that might be because the general clientele of this location are poor college kids.. Lol. I ended up going with a cheaper model Samsung that I ended up hating, but I can't really complain too much for a $60 phone. I am very unsatisfied with my experience at this location. I went in to buy a phone for my daughter. The manager stood there and watched me and offered no help. I finally chose a phone and had to wait 20 minutes for one of the two other sales guys to ring me up. The manager would not use the third register. Then, the guy who processed my order was rude and made me feel like my questions were stupid. He would cut me off in the middle of one of my questions, and not provide me with any useful information. I ended being asked to pay $112 dollars for a $49 dollar phone! I thought for sure that the first month would be included. NOPE! They then charged me $72 dollars for the first month! I told them I only wanted the $40 plan. They said you need the max flan for the first month! I walked out of the store, got to my truck and saw that they applied the $72 dollars to a completely different account, not even mine!!! The Name on the account was S***e It's hard for me to think that this guy was not stealing from me and doing things during the sale that were very unethical. When I went back in and told the manager what happened, she took me to the back and said it must have been a mistake. Then, corrects the error. Then on my way out, I look at the name tag of the employee that made the mistake. His name tag said: S***e!!! The employee used my card to pay his own account, or a phone that he lends to his friend or something. I HIGHLY encourage you to go to any other METRO PCS location. And get this, THIS IS A CORPORATE LOCATION!!! I thought I would be safe by going to a corporate location, and not a 3rd party vendor. read more

Came back here once again due to my phone shutting off and turning on by itself with a message saying out of memory. The first person to greet me with a smile was the girl with the curly long hair. Can't remember her name because it's too unique anyway she helped upgrade my phone and got me a memory card and helped me set up my phone and log in to every app I had. She's awesome! I have a Samsung Light phone that stopped making calls about a month ago. I called (from a land line) metro and was told to bring my phone in to this location. Since I had my phone for less than a year it was under warranty and they told me they would fix it or replace it. The first time I went to this store I was told that not making calls was a known problem with my phone and that there would be an update available at some point. There was nothing they could do to fix my phone or the issue. I went back a week later because my phone was still not making phone calls and my text payment had not gone through so there was no service whatsoever. I was told that again these phones were having issues (payment and calling) and that I could either wait it out or buy a new phone. A new phone that I would have to pay a $15 upgrade for on top of the cost of the phone. Yes, please, let me spend $15 extra dollars on top of the phone for an "upgrade" i.e. a phone that works which would have been right around $100 or more. The customer service here is ridiculous. I will not continue with this company after this. I use my phone for calls and I have a phone that won't make them and nothing is being done about it. read more

VERY poor experience. Went in on Saturday 1/30 to get new phones and service. The rep/system messed up and took an hour to get our transaction done. Got home and they called us and said they messed up and we had to come back Monday (today.) Went back today and the reps couldn't figure out the problem and had to charge and refund my card multiple times. After they finally said they got it fixed, we came home and our phones just got shut off. Ridiculous. (Note: most of the reps were apologetic and friendly but it's super frustrating that they can't figure out this problem.) Horrible first impression. So i went into Metro pcs's store off Roseville Pkwy for the Promotional $29 4g for all. I wanted to add a line to my plan and figured it would be pretty straight forward. As far as the cell service, I don't have any complaints. You get what you pay for, but the "customer service" You have got to be kidding me... First off, I went to purchase a phone for what I thought was $29 dollars after mail in rebate. the bait-and-switch took place when the "corporate stores" only offer phones in pre-packaged bundles. Hence $20 more. Even though the $29 Ad was clearly posted in their window. I guess I can look past that, $49 is still a fair price for a new phone. after the usual up-sell of different accessories (all of which I declined) I was charged $79 for my phone, later realizing that there were 3 added screen protectors for $9.99 each. I never asked for these. Nor do I want them. Irritated already with the situation, we were discussing the options for which monthly plan we wanted. Before I got a word out my credit card was hit with another $72 charge for first months service. Where has that ever been advertised? Fuming inside I tried to keep my composure as I explained this was nothing like the offer advertised on the radio or TV. A woman who I guess was the manager, in broken English tried to explain how they were right. They did end up prorating my account for the additional $32 in monthly charges but the screen protector situation was left un-addressed. Long story short, I thought I was going to experience a quick, easy, inexpensive purchase, instead I left feeling totally cheated and taken advantage of with almost two hundred dollars charged to my credit card. Again the cell service is fine in my area I haven't tried traveling yet, but if you plan to purchase at one of these "corporate stores" check your receipts. Make sure you get what you pay for. I was in this store twice last week and dealt with the same person behind the counter. Horrible experience!! She was extremely rude! She acted like I should know how to do what I was asking her. I like Metro PCS as a whole and I've had good experiences with several of their franchise locations. I was expecting the same with the corporate store. I'm sorry to say this has not been the case there. I've been in this store several times before and while they are civil they are not usually friendly. The Roseville Corporate store unfortunately has HORRIBLE customer service!! I was told they c0ould not fix my phone, which is less than a year old (insurance and under warranty) and only recommended to mail the phone in or buy a new one. What is weird, my husband just looked online for 20mins and got all the instructions to fix my phone with a push of 4 buttons!!!! Fyi he has never worked for a mobile company! Couldnt this corporate office do that same simple task 2 weeks ago? I have spoken to NUMOROUS friends and actually other Metro employees and I keep hearing the same thing, how rude they are. I just bought a phone from this store and I have to say that it was hands down the worst experience that I have ever had as a consumer. A few days after my 400 DOLLAR purchase, I realized that my phone was defective. It would randomly restart and sometimes just flat out not work. So I took it back to this same store thinking that it would be no problem to get it exchanged because I had purchased insurance on the phone, and after all, it was defective. The phone was broken and useless though no fault of my own. When I entered this store, I quickly was frustrated by the absence of assistance and general bad attitudes of the staff at this place. Instead of helping me, the staff in this Roseville store preceded to tell me that I broke the phone and that they would do nothing to help me. They were absolutely no help at all. Then the store employee said that I was welcome to speak to the store manager. Well this guy, (or kid I should say) looked about 12 years old and obviously had zero experience in customer service. Mimicking the first employee he stated that there was nothing that they could do to help me with the broken phone that they had sold me just a few weeks prior. So now I am out $400 for a phone that is nothing but an expensive paper weight. So unless you like getting ripped off, avoid this store like the plague. They sell broken phones and offer no assistance when you call them on their BS. Its no surprise to me to read all of the other bad reviews here about this very same store. They are terrible thieves and have obviously never heard of the expression "the customer is always right." Because of this one store, Metro PCS has lost at least one customer forever. Appalling service at this location. Avoid this carrier. After several months of saving, my teenage daughter bought an LG Optimus yesterday. We were home no more than 30 minutes before the phone needed to be charged. The charger didn't fit, and with further exam, it was obvious the phone had a defect. We called Metro PCS to report it, but it was 6:10p.m. and the stores were closed. We attempted to return the phone the next day and was denied instantly. Metro claimed the phone had been tampered with and that is was our fault. This was simply not true. Metro claimed that it was impossible to have a manufacturer defect. However, they did validate that they do not test the charging component before selling the phone, and could not guarantee that the phone was fully functional upon selling it to us. We attempted to escalate the complaint to a higher manager (we couldn't get beyond the store's assistant manager), but we were denied. Company policy does not allow for its employees to contact managers if they are 'gone for the day' (this is at 4:30 p.m.). Metro offered no resolution to my grievance nor did they provide a loaner phone. To conclude, Metro sold us a $160 defective phone which we used for all of 20 minutes. No exchange, no refund, no course of action or follow-up, no 'sorry.' Seek another carrier, even if it costs more. read more
