They've always followed up and have been attentive to ensure our needs are met. We'd like to commend Oleg especially. Oleg came to diagnose problems with multiple appliances (refrigerator, dryer, washer, and dishwasher). He is professional, patient, and very pleasant to work with. When he came back the second time with parts to complete the work, he brought a young man to mentor while they worked together to fix our issues. Oleg took time to diagnose the problems so that when he implemented the fixes, the appliances would be fixed thoroughly and effectively. We are very happy with the results of their service (all appliances now work without any problems). While waiting for parts for the second appointment, the front desk and managers ensured we weren't forgotten and would keep us updated with the status of the availability of parts. Sergio (the manager) was courteous, thorough, and patient throughout the process. Dana at the front desk almost always picked up the phone, and if not, always got back to us in a timely manner. I had an original appointment on Monday for service. On Monday I received a call stating that they could no longer make that appointment, not a big deal so I rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon. On Wednesday I received a notification that my technician was enroute. After one hour I texted to ask their status and was told 15 minutes, after 20 minutes I received a text that he couldn't figure out how to get past the construction on a the main cross streets to put house. He did not ask if I could provide directions but just said he would cancel and I could reschedule. So now I haven't had anyone even look at my appliance wasted two hours of time off from work. Poor Service. The service person came into my home to look at my fridge that was leaking water and insisted that something was broken even though it was not. It ended up that ice maker valve was frozen solid and he tried to sell me that the fridge needed a $400 dollar repair. I had to pay the $85 service fee for nothing because I fixed the problem myself. Don't waste your time with this company .I would give them zero if I could . I called to service a very expensive samsun microwave ,gave them all the information they needed model number and error code ,I even told them we try troubleshooting by unplugging and then plugging the microwave .So when I called they said repair man have the tools to diagnose the problem. Fast forward to the day of service repair man Frank came he Google the error code ,unplugged the microwave then plugged back in and looked at my husband &said you need a new microwave charged us $85 . Then we found out from the manufacturer Samsung that they don't repair microwaves just replace them .which we are in the process of doing ,have known that we wouldn't waste our $85 for service call that did absolutely nothing .Big RIP off . I had a dryer issue that recurred. I received an appointment the very next day for a return visit. It turns out the problem was different and the tech replaced some rollers that fixed the problem. The charges were appropriate and I was able to pay by credit card. Mask protocols were observed and booties were worn in the house. Then technician was communicative and responsive to my questions. Oleg came to do the diagnostics and advised the drain pump needs to be replaced. He was going to charge me $450 for parts and labor. When I asked why it was so expensive, he said the part was $200! I did a quick google search based on the model number and found the part was only $25. The $200 is quite the mark up. Everywhere else I called said the fee was $250 to $300. Then he was going to leave with the water standing in the washing machine after he tested it. Its a front load with the drain in the front. I asked to put it back to how he found it. I had to go back and forth with his manager in the office trying to resolve this. Clean up is not part of the $85 diagnostic fee. He eventually caved but I had to make a really big issue about it. They will try to rip you off. Dont use them. read more

My LG dishwasher was leaking. First I have to say that I called 3 other companies and they don't even work on LG appliances. I was afraid that the repair guy would come n just try to sell me a new dishwasher. Instead the repairman complimented my dishwasher, showed me the hose that was busted and gave me the price to repair it. My own thoughts were hmm maybe I need to replace it. He kind of read my thoughts n said, "this LG dishwashers is $900 to replace". He was right. So I happily paid $250 to repair including parts. Nice work! read more

I called Metro Appliance Repair for my Fisher & Pakel dish washer. He stated the Motor & pump had gone out and would cost me $550. to install a new Pump & Motor. I asked what a new Fisher & Pakel would cost me & was told $1300.00. Three months after the repair the dish washer is not working. In the mean time I looked up what a new Fisher & Pakel dish washer would have cost me & found them to run btw $600. & $800. @ Lowes. I believe Steve the repairman for Metro Appliance Lied to me knowing I would not pay $550.00 to repair if I could purchase a new one for a couple of hundred more. I was also charged $90.00 twice once for the installation of the Pump & another $90.00 for the installation of the motor. Now I find they are one unit and takes 5 min. to install. This is one Co. Do not waste your time with Metro Appliance Repair. An appointment was scheduled a few days in advance and the tech, John, still showed up late with an attitude. He would not examine the washer machine unless we provided the error code. My tenant did not catch the error code at the time. We paid the $60 service charge for him to come out. After he left, I had my tenant figure out the error code that was popping up on the washer. I called him back and told him the error code. He ordered the parts for us and rescheduled an appointment for a week later after the part arrives. A week goes by and no word. I call him back and he was surprised by the fact that I asked him to order the part to fix the washer. I told him that the washer needs to be fixed regardless so order the part ASAP, so we can get this resolved. He told me that the part was ordered and will be here in 3 days. I called him back in 3 days to check on the parts status, and he again he asks surprised that I asked him to order the part to fix the washer. I found someone else, who was able to find the part and fix it within 7 days. If you want any work done by Metro Appliance Repair make sure you pay with American Express, so its easier to get your money refunded. read more

This company isn't very good. We had a motor replaced in our refrigerator by them in may. It is now September and the motor has gone out already. My wife has called them on Thursday and they said they'd call back. It's Saturday and they haven't called back. I've called 3 times and no answer and also no call back. Now my fridge isn't working and I have no way of knowing if it's going to be fixed. If you have a refrigerator that's going bad don't call this company. They're not responsive at all and also they're product isn't good. I'd give them negative stars but that's not possible. DON'T use this company! read more

The tech came out on Monday, pulled my very heavy stove out to examine the problem, said he didn't have parts so would call Tuesday with estimate and schedule appointment for repairs; left the stove out in the middle of my kitchen. I just called 4 days later to be told ' we can't get the parts'; I asked if they were ever going to call me with the information, no response. Needless to say my review is 0, not professional, courteous, considerate (now what am I to do with the stove in the middle of my kitchen??? Had a problem with my dishwasher on Saturday. I called a couple places on yelp and they were charging as much as $100 just to come out and proposing Monday. Then I found Metro repair on craigslist and Steve was able to come our in 2 hours on Saturday to check out the issue for $35. It wasn't a straightforward issue and he had to come back on Monday. He was able to locate the issue which was a control panel issue. He called around and found a place that had the part and came back later the same day and fix the problem. I found that the price was reasonable too (my parents were telling me to get a new dishwasher, but I stuck with Steve and paid much less). 0 STARS. The washing machine which is a Haier broke down this past Monday, and if anyone is planning on purchasing a Haier product, think again. Their customer service is the worst. So, I went on the Internet and found this Appliance Repair company, and when the technician showed up, he dilly-dallied for nearly 2 hours, didn't fix a single thing, then handed me an invoice for $60.00. I already knew what the problem was, fixing it is why I called an appliance repair company. That was on Monday July 16 and so on Wednesday, July 18, I called the company and explained that the tech left without doing any repairs and handed me a bill for $60.00. He informed me that he'd call me in about 20 minutes. That was over 7 hours ago. I told the tech that the machine would not agitate or spin, and come to find, that's exactly what he wrote on the bill. I'm lost as what this nonsense is all about. I called my credit card company and issued a dispute. If Metro has any honour they will just issue the refund to my bank. For the life of me I just cannot make any sense of why a tech would come out, do nothing and then charge for no service. Worst company ever! read more

Set up an appointment that day. Steve came out and fixed my problem which turned out to be a clogged overflow hose. He only charged my the $45 service fee because the fix was so quick and easy. Hi, there! I had to call to many appliance repair companies and finally ended up with Metro. So, I had an issue with my Sub Zero fridge, it wasn't cooling the way it should. So, called up these guys and had technician Steve coming over for estimates and diagnostics. Problem was with thermostat. Steve gave me reasonable price, said he need to order the new thermostat. Worse experience I've ever had with any kind of home repair. Oven hasn't been working for months. No showed for more than one appointment, never once followed up on status or next steps without me hounding them repeatedly. After months of charging us for a repair that didn't fix the issue and constant weeks of silence in between calls, turns out they can't even fix the oven in the first place and had to refund the initial repair. Our LG french door fridge went out in the middle of the day on Wednesday. Steve had a new circuit board in on Friday. This was the second circuit board (control panel or whatever) had to have replaced in 5 years. Steve was on time, friendly and quoted a fair price. I keep thinking about our 18 year old harvest gold fridge that was still running just fine when we replaced her with our new Stainless appliances. This was Steve's second time out to our house. The first time was last year when we noticed our refrigerator wasn't getting cold anymore. This time around was also due to a refrigerator problem. Our same refrigerator was leaking water. Both times, Steve has done a great job! He knows his stuff and is always very easy and pleasant to talk to. He'll give you a fair price and even offer to come back out to your house within the month for free if you notice something else going wrong. We called Metro Appliance on a Sunday and I was very surprised that they called us back within the hour. I don't think he comes out on the weekends but he was able to accommodate my schedule and come out the next day!
