I took my old, broken chandelier into Metalworks North to see if anything could be done to it, the metal was bent and broken and it was very dingy and scratched. It's a family heirloom so I wanted to take it to someone who knew what they were doing, and a friend recommended I go to Tom to fix it. When I got it back it didn't even look like the same chandelier! It was soooo shiny I don't know how he did it! He also fixed the broken part and bent it back to normal! I'm so happy with Tom's work! I brought him a 19th C. baroque style chenet (french andirons with attached front fender) that was so black it looked & felt like cast iron. It was also broken on one end & missing a leg. Tom repaired and refinished it so the brass is now gleaming gold & the chenet looks as it must have over 100 yrs ago. He also re-socketed an antique ceiling 5-light. Tom does superior work and charges fairly. Recommend you give a call if you have something in metal you value. read more
