He made a complex and stressful situation feel manageable, walking me through every step of the process with honesty, clarity, and confidence. What really stood out was his straightforward, no-nonsense approach. He's a straight shooter who doesn't sugarcoat things--which I appreciated deeply. He laid out realistic expectations, prepared thoroughly, and fought hard for my case. Thanks to his sharp legal skills and dedication, he helped me achieve exactly what I wanted from my case and I'm eternally grateful. I can't rave enough about the work that the law office of Larry Bruce Goodman did for me. Larry…read morerepresented me in two post-divorce applications in family court during which he found and raised issues that prior counsel never thought of. He also represented me when I sold two properties in complicated short sale transactions. Larry impressed me with his knowledge of the law and ability to communicate and negotiate with the court, the other attorneys and my short sale lenders. His patience in listening to me, in keeping me informed as to the status of my matters and in helping me to understand important legal terms and concepts, kept me comfortable, confident and secure. Can you imagine a patient lawyer? While I expected my divorce litigation to be complicated and stress provoking I didn't expect the same from my home sales. I quickly learned differently when Larry relayed my buyers' demands that I make repairs and advised me that I had to make applications for short sale approval to both of my lenders. In the end Larry and his staff addressed both deals patiently and professionally. He negotiated contracts with favorable terms with the attorneys for both of my buyers and short sale approvals from both of my lenders. Larry handled my divorce and real estate transactions with integrity. He kept me informed, advised me of my choices, answered my questions, and responded to me, the court, opposing attorneys and my mortgage lenders quickly and in a timely manner. He gave me the peace of mind that my cases and I were being well cared for. He and his secretary were effective and absolutely professional and I recommend him to anyone who needs legal representation.

Mr. Buckner will gladly produce unneeded work just to milk you out and get paid. These guys have wrecked more Bergen County families then you can count and have no problems sleeping in the night doing so. Mr. Buckner after charging hundreds of thousand of dollars for his services came in final arbitration with 10 pages of petty expenses (less than 5K), that was his whole case. He looked like he was on a several week cocaine binge in court, mediation and arbitration, shaking hands, sweating in a AC room and didn't say 1 word just sat there (0 value to his client). Absolutely the worst and most unethical attorney, you will do better representing yourself than hiring him. Pick him and there firms fortune will certainly be your misfortune.

We recently purchased an apartment in Brooklyn, which involved a time-sensitive "1031exchange." Peter helped us with the complexities of the deal, communicating directly with other parties involved, always keeping us abreast of developments. Peter also helped us negotiate with the Seller, assuring that we were given a fair deal, presenting us with all available options, and advising us on the best course of action. At the same time, he was never pushy, respecting our decisions, and he communicated our intentions effectively with the Seller. We always felt we were well taken care of. Peter's fees are very reasonable. At the closing, we even offered to increase his fees because of all the work he did on our behalf, over a period of months.
