And the prices are fantastic at 6 euro for a plate of boquerones and 3 euro for the patatas bravas. But by far our favorite is the made to order paella mixto. Jorge puts love into his cooking, and this, and his fresh seafood and vegetables, keep us coming. Ack year after year. It is always our first meal when we reach torrevieja, our home away from home.

Cheese was on offer as well as vegan smoothies and, of course, Sangria. I am talking REAL Sangria, not the normal bar watered down variety. All to the accompaniment of a wonderful saxophonist. Then a wonderful four course meal at tables laid out immaculately. With a mariachi band playing in the background. After the speeches the disco began until the early hours. Right away a girl came to take our order and we ask for two 'Tintos de verano' which is a traditional summer cocktail in Spain. The amount was generous and the taste wasreally good. We also order some 'Jamón de Bellota' and 'ensaladilla rusa'. To be honest not the best quality but it was ok. I love foia gras so I asked the chef for a tapa with it.
