The school just got the TEA's A Rating again they beat out Lundy and the afterschool programs are affordable and fun! I'm part of the PTA and volunteer a lot. In the 4th(Optional) and 5th(Standard), Tippin gets you ready for middle school by having students be taught by 2 teachers. One for ELA and one for Science and Math. The school is clean and the bathrooms are also very clean. This campus is a great place to receive your primary Pre-K through 5th Grade Education. I'm almost in high school now, but Tippin had made me a successful student. It is an A ranked school and is top ranked out of ALL elementary school in El Paso. I found this…read moreschool to be mostly about show-boating and a social status contest rather than genuinely caring about students. They care if your child meets their mold. My child was deemed behind. Had them tested to normal results. Tutor said curriculum was too advanced and not developmentally appropriate. The teacher, Ms. O in 4th grade could not be bothered, furthermore she had never taught the primary grades. Her remedy was "to hold my child back." Which seldom is done anymore. I also found school's principal nice but ineffective. To make a long story short, my child is now an honor student in high school. Its a nice school but wasn't a good fit for us.

This school now feels like an extended family which im very grateful for. We came here as a military family and have decided to retire here. This school was a big part of that decision. She had Mrs.lena for pre K and Mrs. Vasquzettes for K-4. Mrs. Lena is well respected there and runs a brilliant classroom that is well disciplined. She is extremely knowledgable and she is experienced from another christian school in El Paso. If I could give the faculty a rating it would be 5 stars. Now, The front office are not so much helpful, everyone had a different opinion about how things should be run. My friend actually enrolled her son the same time I enrolled my daughter and she got charged more (same grade level). I also relocated and I asked the front desk twice if I need to make a payment and the answer was "NO". Then the second time I spoke to someone they told me I would receive a partial refund. When I called to ask about said refund, they told me I owe them money. It's a shame that I have to write a review that is not perfect because of the way the church does business. I will continue to pray for the church, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this establishment.

Excellent!!! Tutoring U is amazing! My daughter had issues at school because of a bad (bully and…read morelazy) teacher. It got so bad I, and a couple other parents, removed our children from the class and put them in another school. The new school informed me that she was severely behind the rest of the class. She finished out the year at the new school, but because of the stress from her previous teacher her confidence was gone and her attitude changed drastically. I spoke with Michelle and her husband at Tutoring U, and they explained how they work with the students. I walked out of that meeting and could not wait to get my daughter started! Later that week I took my daughter in so she could be tested so they could see what her strengths and weaknesses were. They immediately gave me the results of her tests - no waiting - and they set her up on a tutoring plan. Immediately I started to see changes in my daughter! Her confidence was returning, she was happy and her stress was gone. Most important she was learning - A LOT! She was caught up on all the previous year's lessons and she was ready to start the new year. Currently, we are a few weeks into the new school year and her teacher has commented how advance she is math and reading and that she knows how to properly study. We previously tried the other national chain tutoring centers; they were very expensive, did not have one on one teaching (it was more like 4 to 1) and all they seemed to care about was having you sign a lengthy contract. I love that the tutoring is one-on-one. The curriculum focuses on the student's weaknesses, but will also review their strengths. I was always told what my daughter would be working on and how she did on the lesson. I was so happy with the progress my daughter made that half way through the summer I enrolled my younger daughter so she could get a start on the new school year. I will continue to use Tutoring U and I highly recommend their services. Thank you so much for helping my daughters!!
