We have been going to this practice for 9 years. We were very comfortable with Dr. Sabol, but things started getting bad. Wait was getting out of control, waited twice in exam room for over 45 minutes. Big turnover of office help could never get the doctor to call me back when I left messages. Always paid what we owed never missed an appointment. Out of the blue I was told they would no longer be taking our Humana advantage plan was too much paperwork for them. My last visit they really dropped the ball and I ended up in the hospital for 4 days with complete renal failure. Very little concern when I went in for my follow up. read more

Never will I return to this clinic again. I've been going to this practice since I moved here and never have had any problems up until my last visit. PA Marquez-Cocklin won't go above and beyond for you. Her nurse Leslie is rude, condescending, and belittling. She gets away with treating you this way and the facility turns their head at her behavior. She doesn't stand for everything a nurse should be. The practice overall makes excuses, puts up walls and the Manager of the facility isn't a manager at all. Pretty much everything goes thru Dr DeKay so I don't understand her position at all. Go find a facility that stands behind the meaning of healthcare and not the concept of money making. One that will look at you as a whole person, and heal you, not stress you out. I've left this facility with a horrible, pit of my stomach sick feeling. read more

My family has been going to Mesa Family Practice for years. They've been treated by everybody there at one time or another and I have nothing but great things to say about the entire staff. Dr. DeKay has been a lifesaver when it comes to his care, concern, and treatment for myself, my wife, and all of our children.....and the same goes for Dr. Sabol, Dr. Jaques, and Dr. Purcell when he was there....and even more recently Dr. Froyd. The front desk staff has been nice and respectful every time I've been there. I was looking for a new G.P. as my doctor recently passed away. I showed up 30 minutes early, completed the paperwork and was shown to an exam room. My appt. was for 3:30, at 4:00 I was still sitting in the exam room. I gathered my things, walked out and told them that my time is just as important as theirs and ended the appointment. I have had great professional experience with Dr. Jaques. However, i agree the office staff is unprofessional, as they have misrepresented two messages I left for my doctor, and didn't take kindly to my complaints. Just this week Dr. Matt deKay verbally abused me in an unprovoked rage full of venom, vitriol and threats. I don't know what happened to him. Haven't experienced this behavior in him in over 15 years of knowing him. I hope he gets help. I am still shaking and crying. read more

I absolutely love Mesa Family Practice and have been a patient of theirs since 2007. The practice always has very caring, compassionate staff. The office team is amazing! They are a kind-hearted and very competent team. If you have concerns, they are always willing to cooperate in order to find a viable and appropriate solution. All the doctors are very knowledgeable and experienced in their profession. I highly recommend Dr. Jaquez and Dr. Sabol. They are great, very intelligent, and nice doctors who always make the correct diagnosis. They go out of their way to find a treatment plan for your medical ailments.
