Best baklava in Turkey. I had the cream and pistachio kinds (in the yelp photo, they're the…read moretriangle shape and bottom right with green on top, respectively). Traveled multiple cities in Turkey and made it a point to eat baklava at different places in all of them...and this was the best quite easily, and for a better price than most. I even got some to take back to the home. I went to the famous Istanbul spot Gulluoglu (sp?) and found it just average. If you're in Sultanmeht, Altinoglu is worth the short hike. If you're at the Grand Bazaar, it's barely a 10 minute walk down a hill, a straight shot on a street that is directly south of the GB and runs north to south. Look at a map. Off the beaten tourist path and in a local neighborhood.
BTW I promise they didn't pay me to write this. I'm just a baklava fanatic and this was really just that good.
