I am not sure why Merritt Marine decided to give us such crappy service. We took our boat to them in March of 2024 and were assured that they would have it ready so we could use it this spring/summer. We have heard nothing from them for months. We missed having our boat for our beach vacation in June. We called and asked if it would be ready by our lake vacation after July 4th and were told it would be ready. Again, we've heard nothing. We finally told them we wanted the boat back. We will find a more professional business to work with. No one at Merritt's tried to offer an explanation or an apology. It was truly awful service. I called Merritt Marine because it was the only boat store in the country that sold a specific part I needed. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful we engaged in nice conversation and she insured to give me the correct information. Shipping was fast and very reasonably priced. While I have not bought a boat from this dealership they have been more than helpful with my Triumph 190 bay boat. I have called on them numerous times with questions about getting my boat ready for the season after sitting for a while. They have never hesitated to offer advice or support over the phone as a triumph dealer to a customer that didn't purchase the vessel from them. Customer service is not dead! I have been a boat owner for years and appear to have finally found a service department that performs ahead of schedule. Can't count how many times I have dropped off a boat for repairs or maintenance only to be disappointed about how long it would take or if it would get done at all. Chad at Merritt Marine in the service department attended to my request for a 20 hour engine service ,t-top and minor trailer repair in a timely fashion. Was told it would be completed within 4 days but was ready before the end of the day I dropped it off! This place is off to a good start in securing me as a repeat customer. read more

5 stars isn't enough, Merritt Marine is beyond cool! I bought my boat sight unseen and do NOT hesitate to do the same, Chad totally took care of me better than any local place I could find. I'm very picky and Chad far exceeded my expectations. To put it in perspective I bought a boat literally 3000 miles away, NC to Seattle so that gives you an idea of how much trust I put into them!
