I honestly had a really bad experience with attorney Gerald J. Noonan. From the start, he came off…read morerude and dismissive over the phone, like he wasn't really on my side or even trying to understand my case. I asked to meet in person to go over everything properly, and he refused--everything had to be done over the phone, which didn't sit right with me. Another thing that raised a red flag was being asked for money upfront in cash. That just didn't feel professional or transparent. When I went to the office, the paralegal was also rude and unwelcoming. She ended up taking a card payment and gave me a receipt, which made me question why cash was being pushed in the first place. On top of that, I was basically told to write my own affidavit, even though I hired a lawyer because I don't have that kind of legal knowledge. I did my best to put something together, and then I was told it would need to be completely redone anyway. So what exactly was I paying for? Overall, I didn't feel supported at all. If you're considering Gerald J. Noonan, just be careful, ask a lot of questions, and make sure you're clear on what you're paying for upfront. Not recommended.

I'm sure he does great work. He also was very pleasant.

I'm a real estate investor. I called Attorney John Pulgini in February of this year in search of a…read morereal estate attorney that has experience working with investors. I had interviewed several attorneys, but wanted someone local who knew the market. He assured me he's worked with many investors & developers and could represent me on the deal. I didn't have the deal I was working on locked up under contract, which was my first mistake. I informed him I had a verbal to purchase a property off market and below market value. I was working on the purchase and sale agreement with the seller, and needed his firm's help with drafting the P&S agreement. He said no problem, and assured me everything we discussed was confidential, would not be shared with anyone and subject to attorney client confidentiality. I sent him over the documentation, property address, draft of the P&S etc. My verbal agreement with the seller was to purchase the property for $475K. Pulgini said he'd get back to me within 24 hours. Well, 3 days go by and no answer from John or his office. When I reached out to him he ignored my phone calls and emails. Finally he has one of his associate attorney's, Kathleen Avitable, get back in touch with me. She strung me along for a few more days, saying that they were still drafting the P&S they were supposed to have returned to me 3 days ago. Turns out Puglini knew the seller of the property. What I suspect happened is he went to the seller and told them he could give them more money for the property. Two weeks later I see the same property I was going to purchase for $475K listed on the MLS for $675K. The property has sat on the market for 2 months because they priced it too high, as of 5/21/18, it's listed at $615K, don't believe me look up the property address: 127 Dana Avenue, Hyde Park MA 02136. I wouldn't trust this "attorney" with a 10 foot pole. If he can do this to me, he can and will do this to anyone. Unethical to say the least. Lesson learned.
