My procedure went very well, with minimal pain and bruising. I had one concern, on Day 3, which also happened to be the Saturday before Easter. Immediately drove to integris to meet Dr Shadfar. We instantly trusted him! He was calm, confident (NOT COCKY or arrogant) and supportive. He showed empathy, compassion but fierce determination to mitigate any and all risks. His staff? Oh my goodness! Excellent. Kind. Adept! Professional. We were whisked away in a whirlwind of step-by-step processes & procedures that, although absolutely the most horrifying visual graphics I've ever seen in my 25 years of healthcare, were so easy to adhere to our grandbaby could probably follow the instructions. The "trunk/flap" process felt like something out of a sci-fi movie. Doc S was encouraging, strict, and led the way with moxy that more humans need. We adore him. If he says it can be done, by God, he will see to it! Be prepared to LISTEN TO HIM! Follow the rules. Do not deviate from his system. It is STELLAR and SUCCESSFUL!
