I really never even realized that it was here until I walked passed it today. I would say at least 35% of the local stores were closed on a Friday afternoon after Christmas. There were only two places that sold fruit, and their prices for bananas seemed to be on par with the rest of the city. There was a single carneceria, and a couple more flower shops situated at the front of the market. There are more small restaurants than anything, and I also saw a place that prepares fruit drinks. This market is far from where I live so I doubt that I would do any shopping here, but perhaps lunch here someday would be nice.
