Garlic, amaranth, and oatmeal are also very popular here! Unfortunately, the employees were zero help in guiding me towards remedies for my individual concerns, and none of the labels on ingestable items described the supposed benefits or indications (probably a good thing). I had to use Google to look up all the new-to-me herbs and essences. I was so overwhelmed/unsure that I only ended up buying spirulina. (My financé is from CDMX and spoke Spanish to the staff. They were unhelpful.) One thing I wished these shops stocked: neti pots. I really wanted to use one while in CDMX but I couldn't find them anywhere. Next time I will bring one with me.

We ended up buying granola for our breakfast needs, homemade soaps to take home, jute grocery bags.
