We hired RGV Solar to come in and assist us with an issue we were having with our system. The first…read moretime we reached out was in August of 2024, where we were advised to move some of the panels to another location on our roof to get the maximum sunlight. We paid them over $3,000.00 to relocate a few panels, and they were supposed to help us with finding a new Solar Electric provider and maybe switch us to a new plan. This assistance never came and our issue was not resolved. We were given an estimate for additional panels and to have Solar roof vents installed. We declined at the time due to the expense involved. We are both retired and we live on a fixed income. On February 19, 2025 we reached out again and spoke to Isai the owner of RGV Solar, LLC and we asked him to give us a price for the additional vents and also to add 3 Solar Roof vents. This was a tremendous amount of money for us to pull from our retirement account ($13,000.00). On Feb. 27, 2025 we provided un upfront payment of $6,000.00 for the work and this is when the trouble began. As soon as he received payment the communication began to falter, and problems arose. The installers backed their truck into our new rain gutter above the garage, and later that day one of the workers stuck his foot through our ceiling. When Isai came over to our house on Monday March, 3, 2025, I made the huge mistake of paying for the balance of the work before the roof vents were installed. During this visit, Isai asked me to lie to his installer (Jorge) and tell him that we had refused to pay him until the repairs on the rain gutter and ceiling were completed ( I of course did not lie to Jorge when he asked if we had paid Isai). Jorge called Isai a "Mother "Fuc@#%" and huge liar. From March 4, 2025 to March 17, 2025, I sent several text messages, emails and made phone calls to Isai wanting to know when the roof vents would be installed and when the repair of the ceiling would be started. Never receiving a definitive answer. On March, 21, 2025 I requested a refund for the money we had already paid for the roof vents (1,914.00). I had reached my breaking point and would hire somebody else to provide and install the roof vents. Isai was contacted by us again via, text, emails and phone calls that went mostly unanswered from March 21, 2025 through April 18, 2025. Isai is insisting that we had a contract, and he is choosing to let us out of our contract. We have never had a contract with RGV Solar, or any of its employees or Isai Rodriguez, Owner. I have an invoice with the breakdown of the work, and that is all I have. (please see photo). On April 9, 2025 we received an email from Isai stating what he would agree too (please see photo of email). Along with him trying to charge us a restocking fee for two fans purchased from Amazon, he is trying to get us to pay for and keep a fan that he purchased for another location and could no longer return due to Amazon's return policy (someone else's project). Also, we must agree to sign a Non Disparagement clause (see photo with disparagement agreement he wanted our signature on). We will not be blackmailed into silence. Other potential customers need to be aware of this person and proceed with caution before getting involved in a business transactions. I ask you, why would he need us to sign a disparagement clause if he has done nothing wrong?? As it stands now, we will be pursuing a claim in small claims court. If you would like to know any additional details about this company and our experience with them please reach out, I would be happy to share.

grade A frauds . think twice …read more Isaí the owner owes a bunch of commission , payment, completed service, etc to folks as can be seen in reviews by different people that don't even know each other , including customers who had paid them 5+ figure cash down payments $$$ prior to owner flying off to Cancun , and also to Colombia , before any work was complete, and then he doesn't respond to repeated attempts to communicate about it. Well he does, and then he gets the money, and then runs , 100% of the time more or less - Apparently my previous review without background info/1 star without comments from earlier this year was removed. for what reason or who requested that removal i don't know for sure, but i do see a similar report was made from somebody else just a couple weeks ago... And not to get into the detail of the poor customers' whole experience .. That's a whole other roll ... I'll leave it at that. So for anybody thinking about using this "company" they might want to THINK TWICE !

I researched different options online, comparing asphalt and metal, and kept seeing ads for Frontline Home Solutions. Their ads with Juan Curling stood out, and after checking their website, values, and practices, I decided to reach out. From the start, my experience with Frontline was excellent. Jazmin Sánchez, the representative who came out, clearly explained the process, the company's promises, and the financing options available. Before she left, I felt confident enough to sign the contract and put down a deposit. We chose Owens Corning Duration SureNail 30-year architectural shingles. Not only do they look great, but they come with a solid 30 year warranty and even helped lower my homeowners insurance premium. The package was all-inclusive: removal of old shingles, underlayment, new drip edge, ridge vents, replacement of damaged plywood or soffit/fascia (within limits), cleanup, and labor. The crews arrived on time, worked hard in the extreme heat, and finished the job quickly. The new roof looks fantastic. Could I have gone with a cheaper option? Sure. But with South Texas heat and the threat of hurricanes, I wanted quality, not shortcuts. The warranty, professionalism, and integrity of Frontline made the choice clear. They even lived up to their promise of $10 for every nail left behind. A special shout-out to Jazmin for her guidance and to Alfredo Salinas for overseeing the job. Both were attentive and ensured everything was completed to my satisfaction. I recommend Frontline Home Solutions. They kept their promises, delivered quality work, and gave me peace of mind with a roof built to last.
