The young lad who seems to own the place is great, you can tell he's skilled and he takes pride in his work. If you get him you can be safe in the knowledge your haircut is going to be as proper as it can be. The older amateur dramatics guy is decent too and can be funny. I'm sorry to say though the place is let down by the woman, who in my experience is moody and acts like the job is a chore to her. The standard of her work is markedly lower in my experience.
I don't like the way they (young lad aside who i've always found polite and friendly) are so open about the fact they have nicknames for customers either and regularly make comments about them after they've left, it makes you wonder what they say about you and just adds an atmosphere that is completely unnecessary. read more
