This started off real easy getting ahold of Mr. Mendoza (owner/manager?) Via email to set things up. They break down payment due 1/2 at booking and the balance to pay 2 weeks prior to your event. Sounds easy enough. 3 1/2 weeks prior to the event I sent in the final check. Just to do the good deed i sent an email a few days after asking if they received it. Just like the first check I sent it included the last name of the groom and date of the event. I received a reply back via email confirming they received the final payment. So i went on taking care of the other small details leading up to our big day. The day of the wedding came and while my new hubby and I were taking pictures with the photographer at another location, our guest began arriving at the reception site in Santa Clara. The girls who showed up representing Blacktent photobooth, unexpectedly ended up an out-of-town Aunt of mind for the balance. Yes... the balance that I sent via check .. the same balance in question that I received a confirmation for saying it was received... all of a sudden is now due. They threatened my Aunt that they will pack up and leave if they don't get paid. My Aunt stressing out on behalf of me, offered to take care of it via credit card. Which was bitterly declined....."WE NEED CASH OR WE ARE LEAVING." They even told our guest the booth is NOT AVAILABLE with a bit of attitude, leaving our guest feeling a bit akward. My Aunt begged them to stay for a bit longer until the bride and groom arrived so it can be settled. When we arrived before even being able to hug and greet our guest, they attack. I told the girls I received a confirmation from Mr. Mendoza, that he received my payment but must have fallen on deaf ears since they went on demanding CASH OR PACKING UP. No consideration, no understanding. I know it's just a job for you to do and make your moeny... but these events are a part of people's memories. What was a bride to do?! I had no checkbook, no wallet, not even a phone. Just my wedding dress and bouquet. My wonderful loving cousins poured into the bridal room offered support and cash to pay them so they can start doing the job they were hired for. The rest of the evening went well, the pictures are decent nothing spectacular. The girls who tended to the pgotobooth, behaved at least as far as I know. But the disappointment of the experience loomed. Livid about the situation I ended up writing a cuss filled review on that evening. my husband told me to hold off writing this post until the incident was forgiven. My husband called the next day asking what had happened with the check we sent and to fill him I with our experience. He apologized but it didn't sound sincere. He couldn't or wouldn't explain to my husband at all but rather tried to divert it. Mr. Mendoza offered to make it up to us by sending us an extra something the bride and groom's photobooth pic on a customized canvas frame and something else..i can't remeber. We never received it so we are sure he only said it to shut us up and get us off the phone. Thank you for disappointment #2. We wouldn't have cared about the "extra" custom frame at all....but we did want a sincere apology and a clear explanation as to what happened. That would have sufficed. Did you even receive the check? If you didn't how and why did we receive the confirmation? If you didn't receive it why would you send the confirmation in the first place. This would have been easier to deal with if it didn't happen on the day of our wedding. So here we are 10 months in and it still hasn't changed in my mind that this experience well deserves a 2 star review. Note to those who do hire them.MAKE SURE YOU get everything in writing. Do what you can to make sure they are on the same page as you. WE WOULD NEVER WISH THIS EXPERIENCE IN ANYONE WHO'S PLANNING AN EVENT. Wish I could have given a better review but unfortunately it just didn't happen that way.

The booth was seriously one of the highlights of our reception and there was constantly a line of our guests trying to get in to the booth. Not only were they so nice and easy to work with, they completely handled the set-up, break down, attended to the booth, how to use it, and the guests needs. We looked at their website and their prices and equipment looked very affordable and great: photo booth quoted at $660 for 4 hours. After we contacted them and said our wedding is in San Francisco we were quoted: $1375 for 4 hours (more than double their price). When we asked why the quoted price was so different then advertised on their website, Anthony responded saying that there are things to consider like: "Risk of theft, travel distance and time, parking fees and parking logistics, building logistics, booth attendant count". I completely understand if there's additional travel and parking costs, we are happy to get an itemized quote for that service but there's no way that would amount to more than double their original cost for "local events". Overall I thought Anthony's response was unprofessional and his services are falsely advertised.

We had booked with…read moreRyan over one year ago as he was the most responsive, had excellent reviews, and we loved his portfolio. Throughout the year, we were simultaneously planning our destination wedding along with our banquet so we weren't always initiative with communication. Ryan was always great with helping us stay on track and providing us with reminders, when necessary. When it was time for the final touches, Ryan agreed to come at 5:30pm, just one hour before we wanted the photo booth to begin. I believe it was 4:45pm and Stuart (Stewart?) showed up early to get started! I was thrilled to see that he was so proactive with everything! I merely showed him the area of where the photo booth were to be set up and he took over from there; he suggested where to have the photo wall, helped with making sure the area was cohesive with our layout, and even helped set up a table where we were to have our photo book. We had actually purchased our own photo book for a keepsake but Stuart was awesome to bring their own, which we appreciated. He reminded everyone to leave us a copy, politely asked them to sign in our photo book, and even reminded our guests they had the option of emailing their photos to themselves. Throughout the night, multiple people approached me to compliment Stuart. Stuart was great at guiding everyone to look at the camera, brought fun props, allowed us to incorporate our own props (we printed large pictures of our cats) and when there was a glare, he helped remind everyone to angle it for a better picture. What a great guy! One of the things I love about this photo booth was that you weren't confined to only the picture you took - if you weren't satisfied with it, they allowed you to take another until satisfied. I've never seen a photo booth like that before. And because a lot of people wanted to do retakes, Stuart had to patiently wait for everyone's stamp of approval after each picture. He was so incredibly patient with everyone and I was truly so grateful to him. He had a smile on the entire night and never expressed frustrations when it was retake after retake. He's seriously so awesome. After our banquet, Ryan emailed us the photos of all our guests. It was such a nice way to relive the night and see how much fun our guests had! The quality was also fantastic! Thank you to Ryan and Stuart (forgive me if it's Stewart) for everything. All our guests praised us for having such a fun photo booth, which was cannot take any credit for. Came upon The Wong Photo Booth (TWPB) after our usual photo booth company wasn't available for the…read moredate of our event. My company started reaching out to photo booth people around a month before our scheduled event (02/06/20), and Ryan of TWPB was one of the quickest to respond back to us. Not only were his prices affordable, but our line of communication was clear and responsive. We ordered the 2-hour service with additional hour for $600. Since our event was off-site, we had an additional delivery fee of $50. TWPB showed up an hour before our scheduled event to set up and promptly took off once our time was up. Pros: 1. Not sure if this is always, but you are able to re-take pictures if you are not satisfied with one of the photos out of the photo strip set (3 pics in one set), ensuring picture-perfect photo strips. 2. Ryan was super nice and helpful in getting us in the best poses and making sure the props were visible in the pics. 3. Emailing and Text capability on-site! I was able to send myself a text of my photo strips and immediately receive a copy on my phone. Cons: 1. Personally, not enough props! Overall, very satisfied with booking Ryan and will definitely keep them in mind for our next event!

Melissa helped us through relatively smooth process of choosing from their good variety of backdrops, and the design process was excellent as they asked us for our wedding invite/stationery to create a consistent, cohesive design for us with multiple opportunities to review the proofs. It was perfect! Everybody could take as many pictures as they wanted and take home the pictures at the end of the night. In addition they helped to create and design our guest sign-in book with the pictures. Each picture they took one copy would go to them and the other one would go in our guest book. The book was amazing because in 30 years who knows if I will remember certain people by just their name! I now have an amazing guest book with pictures and comments from all the people at our wedding. If you think all of this is amazing we also got all of the pictures from the photobooth on a DVD. This was the BEST thing we ever did at our wedding!! People are still talking about how much fun they had dressing up and taking pictures in the photobooth! Mae and her husband were amazing at helping us arrange all the details from the choice to have costumes, to the cutouts that we wanted in the book.
