My mom and I decided to finally visit Memory Lane after driving by this place hundreds of times in the past. I was shocked by the size of the shop- it's huge! There's thousands of vintage items for sale, along with some cute modern furniture. It was quite the fun experience!
I'm not a vintage-expert but I still enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop. They sell everything - furniture, clothes, toys, collectables, jewellery, tools, books, and much more! My mom felt very nostalgic whenever she saw something her family used when she was younger.
Despite the large size of the shop and the crazy amount of things they carry, Memory Lane is very clean and organized which I highly appreciated. There are "sections" throughout the store to help you find what you need, and prices are labelled on everything.
TIP: some items are displayed inside a glass case, some are not. If you decide to handle an item, make sure it's NOT inside a glass case. I saw a cute teacup and wanted a closer look so I tried to pick it up but instead, my hand hit the glass case and made a loud "BOOM!" sound inside the quiet store. So embarrassing.
Should you visit? Yes! It's quite relaxing and interesting to look around, even if you're not big on purchasing vintage items.
Will I return? Yes, after I learn how to tell air and glass apart. read more
