I was driving home from Orlando to Ponte Vedra this afternoon and decided to stop in Winter Park for some pizza. I saw that they had a Mellow Mushroom there so I figured it was always a good experience in the past at other locations. This one was also a good experience. The menu offers plenty of pizzas, salads, hoagies, wings, calzones and burgers. I went with an old standby, the house special pizza. It comes with pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and onions. It tasted great, as usual. Service was also pretty quick. The decor is bright and funky.

Someone recommended mellow to me before and I never knew what the hype was about. Driving home, I had time and decided to go in and sit down with my sisters... BLOWN AWAY!!! I usually just go with pepperoni for my pizzas , but decided to try their "house special" and I'm telling you I will always get that from now on if giving the chance. They do not cheat you on the ingredients... so yeah the price is a high but worth it! Service was good as well.. it was definitely a chill spot to just kick back and have a good time and enjoy some food pizza! Will be back for some of their wings... heard that was good too!

I've come to this location a few times and it is always a good experience. The service is quick and friendly! Inside there are a few TVs with whatever sporting event is going on at the time (we came on a Saturday night in October, so two college football games were playing). Inside is decorated with typical 70s inspired Mellow Mushroom vibes. We sat outside as it was slightly busy and that was first available. My friend and I split a Great White pizza and it was delicious! The dough was especially soft this time, which is how I like my pizza! There are also options for a more thin and crispy crust if that is what you like!

Had a great lunch at Mellow Mushroom in Winter Park, FL. I ordered the Holy Shiitake pizza, I always add Italian sausage to take it up a notch. The Holy Shiitake comes with an olive oil and garlic base, roasted shiitake, button and portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, mozzarella, aged white cheddar, fresh chives, a garlic aioli swirl, and a touch of black truffle oil. It was delicious and hit the spot for lunch. The service was great, the food came out quick and I love the vibe of this older cozier style Mellow Mushroom.

I came here on a Friday night with friends. I used to go to mellow mushroom a lot next to UCF during college. The pizza is still delicious as it used to be. Recommended for unique creative type pizzas and a beer.

Had to make a quick trip to Orlando yesterday, Winter Park specifically, and had a craving for Mellow's Holy Shitaki pizza. I really like the layout for their spots. Great outdoor spaces. Big open kitchen. Lots of comfortable seating. All over the country, you know you are going to get good pizza and good service. Nothing different here. Got seated right away. Wasn't busy about 5pm Monday. Had a couple of good beers. The Holy Shitaki came out quickly. Beautiful pizza. It was very good as usual. The only issue on this visit was the pizza had a little too much oil used. No big deal. The pizza was delicious, just a little heavier than normal. I will continue to make Mellow Mushroom a pizza place to visit while traveling. Consistent good food and service in a fun environment.

The ambiance lives up to the name with this place! The artwork and aesthetic in this place combined with the music is very trippy and chill. We enjoyed a half and half medium pizza while listening to the Beatles, best way to eat pizza. We ordered half Kosmic Karma and half Great White. The Great White was my fav with an olive oil and garlic base! The Kosmic Karma was slightly similar, I'm not a huge fan of marinara sauce but combined with that pesto swirl .. it was so worth it! I will say they were not very busy and we did while but on the other hand these are all stone fired to order pizzas so it makes sense! It's okay to be patient for some of the best pizza in Orlando!

First time trying the wings and why I waited so long is beyond me! The bartender is great even though it was pretty busy! Fun atmosphere. Kid friendly!

If you're a fan of the old school Pizza Hut smell and taste, look no further. The moment you set foot in this place you'll recognize the smell. We live nearby and probably come here once a month at least as of 2024 upon rediscovering it. My favorite pizza is the Kosmic Karma with chicken. It has everything I like. I usually order a small and take 1/2 of it home. The service here has always been prompt, even for large groups. They also have a full bar for those you want a drinky drink. I hear the sangria is good. Next time you want to grub on some pizza and feel some nostalgia, look no further than Mellow Mushroom. We are officially hooked.

Taste: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Mellow mushroom is that rare franchise that I'm excited to try different locations to experience their unique aesthetic, and this location did not disappoint. Psychedelic atmosphere and delicious food, one of the best places to go for pizza. I highly recommend the Holy Shiitaki pie, but I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered here. This location is small but we've never had a problem getting seating. There is seating both inside and outside. Outdoor seating is covered and has heat lamps for when you come in the winter. Good service, good food, good atmosphere, no complaints.

Mighty Meaty pizza w/ACE cider

As someone who is dairy free but LOVES pizza, I'm so grateful for a pizza place with vegan cheese. The Mighty Meaty is my personal favorite. I normally split it with whomever goes with me and they will accommodate and only put vegan cheese on half and regular on the other half so we can both enjoy! It has pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, ham and applewood smoked bacon. All the meats. Plus they give a generous amount of toppings. There is a bar inside with about 10 bar seats. They serve beer and liquor. I love a good cider and Mellow Mushroom carries ACE pineapple cider so I always order one. There is outdoor seating that is all covered and pet friendly. The inside is clean and staff has always been nice. Mellow Mushroom seems to do alot of takeout orders, so order up!

One thing I like about Mellow Mushroom is its pizza offerings which offers a wide variety of toppings and combinations to suit every taste. From classic/traditional favorites to more unique options (my favorite being the buffalo chicken) there's something for everyone. I am also a fan of their crust, not traditional but has a great taste and texture. In addition to their pizza, Mellow Mushroom serves up a range of other menu items such as salads, sandwiches, and appetizers. Their cheesy bread is good, and also have a decent selection of craft beers on tap. Prices at Mellow Mushroom can be a bit higher than other pizza places in the area, but that is more for the specialty pizzas they offer. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. They don't make you feel bad for bringing your kids whether they are behaving or not. The ambiance of the restaurant is quirky and fun, with bright colors and unique artwork that add to the overall vibe of the place. Overall, if you're looking for a fun and delicious pizza place in Winter Park, Mellow Mushroom is definitely worth checking out.

How I've never been to Mellow Mushroom is wild to me. I see them all the time, but I'm glad I went. The atmosphere here was like restaurant meets bar. Somewhere you could watch a football game or have a casual date. It was tight. I ordered a pepperoni, red pepper, and olive oil base. I was shocked how good the crust was. Great crust, great pizza all around. The cheesy bread was okay. The wings were cooked perfectly and had a ton of flavor. Great trip all around

The inside is pretty small with just a few tables, but it's attached to a brewery which makes it a great setup because you can grab your pizza and head over for a beer. If you're going with someone, my recommendation is definitely to split a pizza and get the "Kale Me on My Cellphone" salad. The salad is honestly so good and loaded with toppings like artichokes, tomatoes, bacon, egg, and cheese. The green goddess dressing completely makes it super fresh, bright, and zingy. I even ended up dipping my pizza crust into the dressing because it was that good. This time we ordered the Gabagool, and I've had the Green Ranger in the past. Both pizzas are super flavorful and really well done. I think I slightly prefer the pizzas with the pistachio pesto base because the flavor combo is so unique, but honestly you can't go wrong with either option. So much garlic that yes, it will fill your car, your fridge, and you may also smell like garlic. They were cooked great. As for the pepperoni pizza, it was just okay. It did have a good amount of pepperonis on it, but the pizza as a whole just lacked flavor. It was a bit bland. Also the bottom of the pizza needed to cook a bit more. Yes, their flavor was good, but I was mostly impressed with the perfect cook. Just the right amount of crispy outside, soft inside. These surprised me cos honestly, they're just fries, right? But these were very, very good. The Mediterranean salad was a pleasure to eat. Fresh ingredients, perfect ratio of ingredients to lettuce. Also, perfect amount of dressing that came on the side (I didn't ask for this, so I wonder if it's just automatic). I don't like salad swimming in dressing, and the amount they have lightly coated everything. Just how I like it. The veal parmigiana hero was also good, but I did find myself adding pepper, oregano and crushed red pepper flakes to it. The bread was hot and soft, and I also kinda wanted more meat on it. But it was still delicious. I could o it finish half, but of course I had salad and some fries, too. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The ambiance was also excellent. They had a great playlist going that had me softly dancing in my seat the entire meal, and it was quiet enough that I could hear the conversation from my friends without anyone yelling. I will definitely be back! How can I not? There were so many other things on the menu that I wanted to try. Oh, honorable mentions since I didn't take pictures of anyone else's food: 2 of my friends got small veggie calzones and another friend got eggplant parm with spaghetti. They all liked everything, and we all took doggy bags. Not because we didn't like it, it was just big portions.

I like to take the focus off me by saying I have a procrastination demon because I can wait until the last minute to plan things . Unfortunately, I ran behind at work today and we had a 5:30 reservation for Bar Italia. I've only been there one other time and when I went, it was still fairly new to the area so it wasn't busy. Apparently the residents of Winter Park have now adopted this spot as their official happy hour headquarters because this place was PACKED. I messaged the staff ahead of time letting them know we were running late and asked if we could move our reservation, but unfortunately they told us there weren't any later reservations available. We still decided to drive there anyway since we'll take you without a reservation. Upon arrival, there were already several groups ahead of us asking about seating and everyone was being told the same thing: they were no longer taking reservations for the night and to try back again in 30 minutes. (I didn't expect to be accommodated because I know we were late so please don't take this as me complaining; I am just giving the complete run down.) Thankfully, I had a backup restaurant for us to try which was 1803 Pizza/Kitchen. I had read some reviews that were amazing and some that were kind of on the fence, but I figured we should just try it for ourselves. Surprisingly, there was only one other table dining inside when we arrived, but there were several people constantly coming in and out picking up to-go orders. It felt like a cozy family neighborhood restaurant, I really like that feeling. We ordered the house salad, fries, Margherita pizza, and chicken parmesan, which is made a little differently because the pasta is tossed in vodka sauce instead of marinara. The salad was simple but SO good; it's also enough to share. The balsamic really made the salad and everything tasted super fresh and crisp, which I appreciated. My fiancé doesn't eat onions so they accommodated us by using grape tomatoes instead of their normal tomato/onion blend which was really nice. I'm usually not a huge fan of ordering fries at restaurants because a lot of times they taste like they came straight from a freezer bag , but these honestly tasted like fresh fries and were so good! They also had some sort of seasoning on them that wasn't overly salty but added so much flavor. Our food came out quickly and both entrées were served at the same time. The pizza had the perfect amount of bite, although I do wish the center crust had been just a little firmer. Overall though, the flavor was great. The crust was airy and light, the sauce was delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed everything we ate. My only small pet peeve is that I don't think the pasta itself was freshly made, and that was one of the reasons I originally wanted to try the restaurant because I had read reviews saying they offered fresh pasta. But honestly, everything was still delicious regardless. We ended up getting dessert to-go, so I don't have a review for that just yet, but if it's anywhere near as good as the food was, I already know we're going to enjoy it too!

I ordered the Pesto Arugula pizza that was recommended by our server. The pizza was sooo delicious... I loved the house-made pesto and the creamy burrata cheese. My friends ordered the Pizza Bianca and Pepperoni Pizza and they enjoyed their pies as well. 1803 Pizza also has a huge selection of signature desserts! We were all so stuffed from dinner that we ended up not trying any... but definitely will be back to try some in the near future. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit at 1803 Pizza Kitchen.
