I booked her when my baby was 3 weeks old (and as I found out, it wasn't a good idea; my baby was too alert for the photos so if you are still pregnant and reading this, please arrange a booking with Jacqueline ahead of your delivery and she will work with you to get the baby in within the first week). Nevertheless, she was patient with my baby and tried to calm her and soothe her to get the photos done properly. When you walk into the studio, you have to take off your shoes which I appreciate because she would like to keep the studio as clean as possible for the babies. She has a changing station and has numerous outfits, hats, blankets, etc, all the accessories she might need to take beautiful photos, all properly and neatly organized for you to choose from. Jacqueline has great taste so, if you depend on her to come up with beautiful poses for your baby, you won't regret the outcome. She also gives you the option to choose the colors and outfits and works with you to get beautiful photos. Once the photoshoot is done, Jacqueline sends you all the proofs to choose from. However I had planned a surprise renewal ceremony on the beach in Huntington Beach, California. My husband had no idea! Jenna was so great to work with! A few months prior to the ceremony, she came with me to the site to scout out the spot where she would hide out and take those photographs of my husband's shocked face. Jenna is amazing to work with! Even though she is a newborn/family photographer, she understands the connection between husband and wife. When the day came, she hid behind the cars, and when we walked down the stairs to meet our officiant, I could not see her at all! She hid well! Then she popped out, and started taking photos of us, and my husband's face lit up in joy. He was so surprised when he saw the officant waiting with us, and then once he saw Jenna, he was beyond shocked. (fist pump to Jenna, like we did it!!). Jenna is SO talented when dealing with children. She can get our crazy toddler to laugh for pictures when she's cranky, and she was SO patient with our newborn, not rushing the session at all. She took her time calming him, rocking him, giving us breaks to feed him, and didn't get grossed out one bit when our newborn son pooped on her 4 times during the session! Jenna is the perfect combination of professional and fun to work with. She is also extremely efficient. She has gotten our edited pictures to us one week after our session both times! With other photographers we have used in the past, it has taken at least a month to get them back. We have also ordered large prints from her from our sessions and they are so beautiful! He took about an hour to take several pictures of us and I like how he just went with the flow of things with my kids since it is hard to make them do anything. He took some fantastic shots and one came out just so awesome we ordered it in 18 x 22 size to frame and put in our entryway to our home. We get several compliments all the time on the pictures since he is on Facebook and tags you in all the great pictures so that all your friends can see and make comments. I loved working with him and he gave us a great idea to first look for a sale on a frame so that we don't spend a fortune on framing our picture after we get it in.
