Mixed review here. The Dr. Is incredible, I highly recommend her she's kind, knowledgeable and in…read moreno way the rest of the experience represents her as a provider. Which is of course the most important thing so I'm coming back here. The building it's self is well cared for and aesthetically nice and new seemingly. The bad - the pretty, shiny open waiting room; which you will spend A LOT of time in is hosted my a woman who is cold and makes me uncomfortable. I have no idea why a person would want or be hired for a OBGYN office. She sucks to be honest and I've been here 3 days in a row and also about 6 weeks ago so this is not a 1 off. Each appointment has taken over 2 hours with super long wait times and no ex

They called her to change her appointment for today at 11:45am, then changed it to 12:15pm and than changed it to Monday around 3pm, and at the end they called her again that today was good at 12:15pm. We live in Seguin and this office is in the Creekside area in New Braunfels. So she starts driving to her appointment and there was a funeral passing by on 46 so she called the office to let them know that she's on her way but she might be 5 or 10 minutes late but she's on her way. The first lady she talked to said it was fine. My mom got there at 12:17 PM. She went inside, she's a little older so she doesn't know how to use the apps or computers. As soon as they saw her come in they gave her an ugly look and they looked upset that she couldn't do the paperwork on the phone. So another lady was called and she was speaking with her a little bit in Spanish, and apparently the app glitched, and it didn't save the information they had already put in and she got a little upset that they had to redo the whole thing. Than another lady comes into this conversation and says we're gonna have to move your appointment again because you're too late, and my mom explained; you guys said it was OK. They were trying to tell her that the doctor was already ready that she should have come in earlier to do all the paperwork and my mom got upset and she told them to cancel everything. My mom has been trying to go to the doctor for months to get check out, and finally she was able to get an appointment here to see if her body is doing well, because she was concerned about something and this is how you're treated in the front office. How is someone supposed to be calm and relaxed to a doctors appointment if this is how they treat you in the front. If you don't want to work, don't go to work. If you don't like Spanish-speaking patients maybe write that in your website. And stop changing the appointment times the actual day of the appointment. I'm her daughter and I'm typing this review because you guys would not have known what happened, since she doesn't know how to use a phone. And my mom is not the only patient who doesn't know how to use a phone to type all the information they need. Can you imagine how many more elderly go through this?

Fast forward a couple years and I became pregnant. I didn't do a lot of research on OBGYN and figure I would just stay because I already felt comfortable. I am so glad I stayed, not only for the exceptional staff and wonderful doctor. But I had such a wonderful birthing experience. The office staff is always upfront about everything and they will try to help you as much as they can! The nurses will answer any questions you have, I can't remember how many times I called to make sure something was "normal" Dr. Kunda is not only a wonderful doctor but he brings a great presence wherever he goes. Even if he had bad news he has a great way of being apologetic and positive at the same time! During and after labor I couldn't have been more thankful for an amazing doctor! Now we are so happy to have our little bundle of joy home with us! (Also I had some postpartum hormonal migraines and I called the office and they brought me in to address my concerns and refer me in the right direction!) So thankful for this office, nurses, and doctor!!

Most upsettingly, he moved forward with other procedures, knowing he no longer intended to treat me, effectively leaving me high and dry during a vulnerable time. * Recommendation: While the office staff and Nurse Practitioner are excellent, I cannot recommend this physician. He proved that he is unwilling to stand by patients if their medical situation becomes complex. I have since found a wonderful gynecologist nearby who accepted my condition without hesitation.

I've been with NE OBGYN Asssoc since 1982 or so. I started with Dr. Forks, then Dr. Theis, and…read morethen, Dr. Akright. I can not say anything but wonder things about all my doctors here. I had several illnesses and procedures, 2 C-Sections, and always had professional care. Once, Dr. Akright stayed at the lab until 8:30pm to get my lab report, as he knew I was worried. He called me right away that night, instead of waiting until the next day to tell me the information. I think all offices have had issues with employees, especially since CoVid. Times are tough and we all need to have patience and kindness. Thanks NEOBGYN for everything you've done for me. Vicky Lambert Schafer

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. SPECIFICALLY DR. PATEL…read more They just want your money. They do not care about you as a person and could care less about your feelings. Long story short, I've had 3 pregnancy losses. I started bleeding at 9.5 weeks pregnant. Office wouldn't schedule me to get checked. The bleeding got worse, I made myself an appointment online. Confirmed at that appt there was no heartbeat. Had an emergency D&C at Methodist stone oak due to passing massive clots/ hemorrhaging. I get discharged, and told to call for a follow up. I call, they can't see me until 5-6 weeks post op (November 10th). They call me on Halloween saying the doc wants me to come in today. (Sure let me cancel my plans?!) I go in, they tell me I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance declined the last claim due to coordination of benefits. I'm upset, why do I pay for insurance if I can't use it?! I end up paying out of pocket ($150) JUST FOR THEM TO ONLY DO A PREGNANCY TEST. Dr. Patel comes in and I'm UPSET at this point.l and crying. It's traumatic to go to an office and see pregnant women everywhere after you just lost ANOTHER child. Then to be told I won't be seen if I don't pay private pay. The office has treated me terribly. Don't care about any concerns. Everything is on their time. Dr. Patel comes in. Doesn't introduce herself. Nothing. "Your pregnancy test is negative, I'm not worried about retained products. Are you still bleeding?" I say yes, she says okay could be a period or not. I'm not sure. I asked are we just doing a pregnancy test? No pelvic exam? I just paid $150 for a pregnancy test????????? I verbalize I'm upset at how this office has treated me. She states: "I understand but we don't allow ugly behavior in our office either." WHAT???????? What did I do that was so ugly???? Then. I get this in the mail a week later. This practice SUCKS. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I work in the medical field, and it's disheartening the way this practice has treated me.

Dr. Blaue is quite possibly the worst doctor I've ever seen, and I left my appointment with him feeling humiliated. I was on the verge of tears by the time I left the office. I had a cyst on my ovary rupture about a week before my appointment here, and had the rupture confirmed by an ER doc the day it happened. They referred me to this office for a checkup afterwards. Dr. Blaue not only denied the ER doc's diagnosis (for which there was an ultrasound and my own pain to back up), but he told me that the cyst only existed in the first place because I am fat. I don't deny that could be a factor, but he provided no treatment or further exploration of the issue besides "lose weight." When I asked about birth control (the implant), he said I was too fat and it wouldn't work on me and then dismissed me. A GP later told me there was no evidence the implant doesn't work for fat women, a fact I confirmed with research. He was extremely dismissive, cold and even cruel. I didn't even feel human. I understand being fat is a health risk, but I still deserve to be treated with respect. This experience was so traumatic I still haven't gotten a real exam to monitor my cysts. Please avoid this doctor, especially if you are overweight.
