In 1941 namen C.A. Carlier de zoon van, en zijn dochter en haar man, mw. C.M. Rouw-Carlier en de heer J.H.B. Rouw sr. het bedrijf over. Vanaf 1972 was de banketbakkerij in handen van B.J. Carlier. In 2005 heb ik, J.L. van Poll de zaak overgenomen. Wij streven ernaar om de bakkerij in de traditionele stijl voort te zetten.

I ordered a…read moreGözleme particularly a Döner Lekker Op! which is basically a chicken döner wrapped with feta, gouda cheese, spinach, corn and onion mixed together and wrapped in an unleavened pastry and grilled. Awesome taste - it tastes cheesy and salty and aroma of BBQ chicken is fantastic. The grilling makes the wrap a bit crunchy. Very good value for €9 that basically feeds two as it is about 8"x8" square. It is highly recommended for sure.

I also have tried their pear pie, lemon cake, chocolate cake, and red velvet cake as well. The prices aren't too terrible. I recall the Dutch apple pie was 3.50 Euros a slice. But I don't remember how much the cake slices cost tho and I assume it's probably a similar price.

Het desembrood komt vers uit de oven en de bakker staat aldoor koekjes van eigen deeg te maken. Het grote voordeel voor de klant is dat de producten nog direct gekocht kunnen worden ook, verser kan niet! Specialiteiten van ons zijn de eierkoeken, desembroden en bakkerskoekjes.
