I was skeptical about this place look from the second floor on food precinct roof top area.
This place doesn't resemble any Mexican to me.
Anyway I came and check it out, a bit feel to nibbles Something light.
The lady host was super friendly and greet me at the door asking if I wanted to seat al fresco or dining inside, asked if I have allergic and gave window period for me to read and choose from the menu and approached me for order.
Well, I did ordered as following:
1. slow roasted pork taco with chilli caramel salsa
2. Achiote chicken with salsa macha,
3. Corn lollipops with chipotle mayo, queso fresco, coconut and popcorn
4 Margarita Cheesecake Tostadas
Ok, corn lollipop is fun to eat, but my opinion chipotle mayo overpowering queso fresco ( Mexican fresh cow milk cheese ) and I barely taste the coconut.
Can't default the slow roster pork, chilli caramel salsa was great accompaniment, (sweet and spicy at the same time), for this dish, and bit of scratching was good crunchy note .
Chicken taco, those salsa macha was chilli hot, peanuty and sweet honey finished note, not to spicy on my palate, beautifully crafted sauce with extra crunchiness from Mexican slaw.
This signature dish, cheese cake, came in 4 bit sizes... Very soft delicate cheese cake with base their version Tostada, I am guessing just kind of oven baked coconut biscuit, ( also toasted coconut flakes) and the hit of tajin salt was telling your brain that you are having "solid" margarita and some more the addition of dehydrated lime bring this dish complete to confused your brain.. Am I drinking margarita or eating cheese cake?
Well... You decide! read more
