I don't know where to start from.. this place is amazing and so few people know about it - I hope it's kept a secret that way. This is not your typical luxury resort type of vacation. In this village you need to climb stairs, walk into historic ruins, paddle in the sea, eat amazing breakfast and be satisfied with the only decent food option in the village: fish.
The whole village is historic. The rooms were nicely decorated and this hotel has merged two old rooms together, much bigger than the options around, and with air conditioning. It has its own private beach, they pick you up and drop to the closest civilization (Ucagiz Port), from where you may need to arrange transportation to go to Dalaman/Fethiye.
Hotel owners took good care of us. There are only 3-4 rooms, they're pretty much available to all concerns/requests.
Caution: beware the bees while you eat! Repellent spray recommended. Bees here are big and they never let you eat!
I think this place is great for a 3-4 days stay. More than it might be headache due to internet/signal availability issues and consistent stair climbing. Sea is gorgeous and it's anthropological site, thankfully, so there are no resorts destroying the beautiful nature.
Private boat trip is highly recommended -We went with Mutlu Kaptan after I read the reviews on Google Maps. There are also some boats for small/large groups for cheaper prices. Mutlu Kaplan kept us away from the crowds and we were able to swim in the most beautiful waters. read more
