They are all about Gwenth Paltrow size which is amazing because it seems like all they eat out here is carbs between the pizza, pasta, and gelatos. There ain't no Footlockers or Sports Authorities out here (though Naples does have one FootLocker), so most Italians wear un-official gear of their favorite teams from local stores. The merchandise tends to run small. For example a XXXL shirt is equivalent to a Large shirt in the U.S. So needless to say this is what I looked like in their largest size, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvyZC5Wajj0&feature=youtube_gdata_player Thank God (Even though in Italy they would probably thank "Maria") for Football Shop who makes U.S. sizes for us big dogs. I wanted to get an outfit of the most popular team in this region, SSC Napoli. They have every possible size and team of all the Futbol teams in the world. Official clothing that holds up after being washed unlike some of the bootleg gear. The employees are very friendly and helpful. And even though my teams are the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors, having a Napoli sweater is cool too. So if you're like me and want to stay hip-hop and don't wear anything smaller than straight leg jeans this is your spot for sports wear. Justin Beiber wears skinny jeans... I'm just sayin...

I went in not knowing much about The Union of European Football Associations. I left still not…read moreknowing much but at least now I can recognize the uniforms of a dozen football teams. Italy, Spain, Belgium - they all have beautifully colored uniforms. And because we were in Italy this shop had just about every major player on the team. If wearing someone else name on the back of your shirt isn't your thing - you can customize your favorite team's jersey with your own name and fav #. Select the font style you like the best and according to the staff the stitching is done in about an hour. That would make for a nice souvenir for someone back home, huh? Staff was friendly enough; the store was well stocked and very clean, and prices seemed reasonable (even after we did the conversion rate). We didn't purchase anything but it was nice to look around.
