Horrible place of business. Owner refused to honor the contact stated below in writing via email for a group of 5 year olds kids. "Attached is the consent form for your field trip, please have the parents sign it and bring it with you. We look forward to your visit on Friday, December 21, 2018. Please have all of your kids and adults bring or wear socks. Once they get inside please have them take off their shoes and put them in the shoe-caddie. We will escort everyone to a room where we will take a few minutes to go over the rules and safety policies. We will take care of the payment after the kids are playing. Your charge will be $7.99 (admission)+ $1.00 (pizza) + $1.00 (drink) + tax = $10.79 per kid Coach V". Owner canceled our reservation at the last minute for an unexplainable reason when the stated rates were being paid/child. Who turns away reserved paying customers? Never again. read more

On February 7 my husband and I came into Megaplay to book a party for our 1 year old daughter. During the consultation I was asked do I want to choose a theme because they have "a large variety of cartoon characters to choose from". My first thought was no but the manager talked me into going all out for her first birthday. So our thoughts why not, it's her first birthday! We decided to go with Doc Mcstuffins. I was called on 4 different occasions to confirm the day of the party and theme. I thought it was a little much with the calls but appreciative to say the least. I got my last phone call the day of my daughters party. Only to be informed that Doc Mcstuffins decorations have been discontinued. So you mean to tell me that the company you place your order with didn't inform you that Doc Mcstuffins wasn't available anymore? You didn't know you didn't have it prior to the day of my daughters party? Then top it all off the manager made it seem as if she was doing me a favor to make the decorations "nice" for our 1 year olds party. Plain aluminum foil pink looking table covers. Five balloons and pink plates with purple napkins. I was utterly dissatisfied with the outcome of this party. Had I known prior to my daughters birthday that Doc Mcstuffins wasn't available I would've asked for approval to bring my own decorations. One of my guest I invited was a nursing mother. It was time for her baby to nurse and when I asked the staff for a nursing room for her I was met with "she could nurse her baby in the bathroom stall" reply! What kind of company has the audacity to run a business who's target audience runs from adolescences to newborns not to have the necessities for the respective age groups???!!! You would think that Megaplay would have a dedicated room for nursing mothers since there are so many children that play there. This was by far the worst experience ever as it relates to customer service, accountability, respect, professionalism. With all this being said if I could leave 0 stars I would! read more

So I brought my water bottle to this place. They told me I can not bring them in. I had an young infant and my five years old with me so I didn't run back to my car on a raining day to put my water bottle back. On the way out, the owner asked me if they told me no outside food and drinks allowed. I told them the lady did inform me but I didn't go back to put it down because I had carried my car seat with my infant and again on a raining day. She then told me next time they won't allow me pay to go in. I was like ok. Then as I was walking away, she made comments behind my back with another customer which I could hear. Like wow rude much. And I won't have that much of a problem with it if other people also were following the rules. It seems like they only told people who they can pick on and let others go. I saw a lot of people with their drinks and snacks. Mind you again I only had a water bottle. Don't worry about ringing me next time, I won't return. read more

An ok place to bring the kidos, but I probably wouldn't make a regular thing out of it. There's not really to much to the place being that the main area is basically an oversized McDonalds Play Place. I understand the need in the modern day and age, but there are a lot of Safety Sally "play supervisors" on guard. Kinda takes the fun out of it for some of the kids. I also remember these kind of places as a kid and though my perception may have been skewed based on my small size, they were generally way bigger. All in all my daughter enjoyed herself, so I can't complain too much. I would recommend taking your kids here at least once. It's not to expensive to at least try out, I just found it to be kinda meh. They also feature a range of specials for birthday parties, but I'm pretty sure you are limited to their food and drinks. read more

Not being able to bring in our own snacks is a problem. With multiple children and already paying admission, buying snacks is out of the question. Kids run & play inside & they get hungry. One section for outside food would be nice since we aren't allowed to leave, eat outside, & return. All children's museums and amusement parks we've attended have had a specific eating area for this. read more

Very clean and organized. Make sure to bring socks with you even you parents or else you'll have to wear shoe covers which cost $. Decent price and my children like it better than monkey Joe's since there is a variety of equipment to play on besides jumpy houses. I took my kids and their cousins to megaplay today to have some fun out of the sun. We arrived at 10:45 and it wasn't overly busy which was a good thing! As time went by, the kids started to complain about how hot it was. At first, I thought nothing of it, we're in here playing it's bound to be warm. Then I started to sweat as well. Someone came over the PA system and announced they were working on getting the ac fixed and someone would be out in 15 minutes with the part. 3 of the 4 kids that I had with me have eczema which means when they get hot, they flare up and start itching. My son (2 yrs old) is the worst and when I touched his skin it was so warm that I knew we had to leave. That was at 11:30. We spent 45 minutes in there before having to go. If I had been told when we got there that the ac was out we never would have stayed. I'm livid that I wasted our money when we didn't even get to stay and enjoy ourselves. All I got from a staff member as we were leaving was "sorry for the inconvenience, it'll be better next time". I don't know if there will be a next time for us. Not happy at all!!!!!! (As I loaded up the kids I noticed them telling the new customers coming in about the ac issue- they should have told everyone or at least posted it on the door!) read more

This place is really cool! Two and three year old loved playing here. Just a few notes: It is $1.50 for a pair of socks if the kids don't have any on. Socks are a must, even for parents if the parent wants to get on the equipment with the children. Shoe covers are available for adults to purchase if they don't have socks. ALSO: We arrived at 10:30am on a Thursday during the heat of the summer and let me tell you what, that place was PACKED. That surely was the place to be to get out of the heat. On that particular day, several daycares bussed in their kids and all the older kids were running and screaming all over the place. The "toddlers only" area was packed too but at least they were pretty tamed! Bringing your toddler to the other areas for more than a minute was out of the question for me that day bc of all the older kids pushing and running around. But it's all about how you hit it and what other groups are playing that day. Even so, the kids had fun and the staff were attentive and worked hard to keep everyone safe! read more

We tend to frequent this establishment because of the indoor play during the winter and on rainy days. Not to mention the fact that play patrol gets on to kids for misbehaving, so that the younger kids don't get run over and such. I'm thankful for such a great place to have play days with my babies. We especially love the Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday, my babies look forward to it every year. Thank you for such a friendly staff. We just held our daughters birthday party at Megaplay. I couldn't be more impressed! We booked our party a month ago. They called a week ahead of the party just to confirm everything and make sure we were all set. Excellent communication, for sure. They had anticipated our arrival so check in was speedy. The place was spotless and several times during our time there, we noticed staff cleaning and disinfecting. Jesika, our party host, was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and anticipated our every need. She made everything so much easier! We were truly able to just come in and have fun. Took our 2 1/2 year old grand daughter there for some fun time on a Sunday as the weather was too outside to play. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The play area was very clean and in the 2 hours that we were there the floor was vacuumed and the slides were disinfected. We didn't eat there but the juice was high quality organic and reasonably priced. Just remember to bring socks for everyone. But if you forget they only cost $1.50. It got a bit busy after 1:00 but it was a ton of fun. We will be back. read more

We visited Mega Play yesterday with 6 children. It is true the first impressions are everything! Upon walking in the door we were first pointed at and told that there was to be no outside food or drink because my sister in law was holding an empty cup that just needed to be thrown away. After paying and trying to take shoes off and gather our children the owner/ manager began immediate saying you need socks or shoe covers and pointing and talking to us very rudely. There was a day care there at the same time as us and the manager started directing our children into one of the small party rooms with the day care children. When we asked where are ylu taking our children the manager/ owner said I am going over everything at one time, why? We said well you took them in that room and they are not a part of that group and she said well I can't help it if your children misunderstood what they were doing. Really?! Our children are respectful, we'll mannered children who respect authority so of course they would follow you! Once getting everything settled the children began to play and the so called "Play Patrol" were very rude and not helpful at all. They were yelling a children, pointing in their faces, and seemed very unhappy to be working around children. I think this place is very small given the amount of children they allow in. I felt very uncomfortable and could not relax and have a good time. I felt as thought the "play patrol" were not very kid friendly or cooperstive. I definitely would not go back. This place has lots of kinks to work out and I don't know if they have to kid friendly positive atmosphere I would recommed to anyone as a fun kid friendly place. Such a shame! read more

My 5-year-old daughter plays at Megaplay often. We love it because it is always clean, the "referees" are patient and gentle with the kids, the staff is always friendly, the equipment is unique, the prices are great, and their free WiFi/adult lounge section is nice. I held my daughter's soccer team party at MegaPlay last week. I went in a month early and one of the owners, Coach V, came out to plan the party with me. She gave me an amazing deal and then worked with me over time because several families cancelled. Even though it meant losing some profit, she never changed her prices on me when people backed out and really seemed to care about whether or not I would have to pay very much out of pocket for the party because of all the cancellations. Despite seeing a hundred different faces a day, she remembered who I was time after time and was full of compliments about my dedication and organization as the team mom. On the night of the party, we had a great host who was attentive and ensured that everything went smoothly. The food came out hot and on time, there were plenty of supplies available to us, and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Based on my experience, I plan to host all future parties at Megaplay. read more
