I got the Hot Red Bean Soup Signature. The soup was warm and had a thinner texture than I expected. They had to add the sesame rice balls, not very pliable, after I noticed they weren't in the bowl. It tasted like scoops of everything were added to the bowl with the red bean soup poured over it. If the soup was hotter, maybe everything would have been warmed through. For some reason, while I was sitting there at night, they decided to increase the volume for the music really high when everyone was just conversing quietly.
Tried their Pudding & Q mochi Milk shaved ice - (almond pudding, caramel pudding, mini q, q mochi, melon jelly, and ice cream) this time around. 13$ for a medium, 14$ for a large I will give them kudos that their large is really, large. Can definitely feed a entire party cause wow that was a lot. I would say taste-wise, its mostly just okay. All of these jellies and puddings were fairly tasteless to us. I personally think the ice cream was probably the best part. My party got their oolong milk tea and the hot almond drink and were okay. The hot drink option is nice and a bit different and stands out compared to other neary drink options.
Meet Fresh is known for their authentic taiwanese shaved ice with fresh fruit and mochi toppings. And I'm all here for it. There has never been a dessert that I haven't enjoyed here. Most times, I get there big mango shaved ice mountain (I don't even know what it's called, but you'll see the menu pics and know which one I'm talking about). This order has never failed me. It features light, fresh ice, big and sweet mango chunks, super chewy and flavorful mochi bites that all go together so perfectly. Another one of my favorites is the cold tofu pudding dessert. For those that have never tried, it is soft jiggly tofu in a ginger soup base that is so refreshing and satisfying, espectially in the hot texas heat. Reminds me so much of my childhood summers in Taiwan. Recently, I also tried their mango sago and taro shaved ice mountain. Both were amazing and reinforced for me the eliteness of meet fresh. (I have heard that their drinks aren't good, and probably makes up for most of the supbar ratings here, but to each their own!)
Came to this location for the first time! We ordered one of the classic ones from the menu; black sugar milky boba shaved ice, and it was really good! We requested for less sweetness and it turned out to be the perfect sweetness that we like!! We ordered L size for four of us and we ate it like nothing! Come visit and get your favorite ones! Cheers

Poor service. Poor communication. Marketing scams - I think I got scammed.. I attached to show the product that I actually got - the picture on the poster is very misleading compared to what i actually got. I am so disappointed. Where are the crumbs at the top of the ice cream? The ice cream isn't even pistachio - it's literally vanilla flavor. I can't believed I paid $15-ish for this. Big scam! I may as well go to Nu Ice for a way bigger mountain of ice and way cheaper price - they use real fruit for the ice flavor at Nu Ice. I was so excited for the pistachio series but the result was so frustrating and disappointing. I pointed it out to the staffs there - they just shrugged their shoulders, and did not even acknowledge my concern that I raised. Another thing, for a place that requires napkins when people eat, why don't you guys add more napkins?
Meet Fresh is it interesting take on Taiwanese iced desserts. Seating and ordering is made easy and quick. There's plenty of tables and space to choose from. The place overall is quiet and cute with hints of minimalism meets modern. In an age where Asian Foods is highly competitive, Meet Fresh has yet to carve out a niche that beckons returning customers. We ordered a shaved ice tower nested with red bean and mochi topped with ice cream. You would expect the ice to be a nice palette cleanser and refreshing base to help with in between bites of sweet such as ice cream and red bean. But the ice cream and red bean are already overly sweet and coupled with a sweet ice base is to overwhelming for me. The staff and space is nice, but that alone is not enough for me to want to return for seconds. Still, I hope the business thrives and aligns with a pool of consumers that enjoy a more all-encompassing sweet tooth treat.
I came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. The place is very casual, order-at-counter type of place, and the service is also to pick up your order athe counter. If you have a group sharing, you could get some smaller bowls to share. I tried the mango and strawberry shaved ice, which had a nice fruity flavor, and the black sugar boba milky shaved ice which satisfied both the shaved ice and bubble tea cravings in one. Both were large, with a scoop of ice cream placed on top. I came with a group of 6 and there was plenty of room to sit, and we shared 3 total items. I really enjoyed the shaved ice here and the variety of flavor options!
Came on a wed night for dessert. Food 4.5/5: got the Q mochi and caramel pudding and the Thai iced tea. The mochi was a little on the firmer side, quite tasty. The pudding had great texture and wasn't too sweet. Wished the sweetness of the iced tea could be changed but otherwise was great. Ambiance 3/5: fairly clean, brightly lit. Very casual setting. IKEA style furniture with haphazard chairs placed around Value 4/5: decent price for the dessert amount and quality Overall 3.9/5: overall a good experience, would come back if I'm in the area to try other options
Solid place in Chinatown to come to for a good boba tea. In the crazy heat of Texas summers, this is a welcome place to go to. Ordering was quick and efficient. I got the Passion Fruit Tea and enjoyed the good balance between tea and fruit juice. It wasn't overly sweet, and I loved the added texture provided by having actual passion fruit included in the tea. Parking is hard to come by here, so just be sure to drop by during a less busy part of the day :)
I love meet fresh! We got the Icy Grass Jelly Signature which is taro balls (my personal fave), grass jelly, on ice (with brown sugar syrup or sweet syrup?), and comes with a creamer to pour on top. I also like the strawberry/mango milk shaved ice! The line sometimes gets long during peak hours but I think it's because there were only 2 workers. A lot of space to sit, eat, and chat with friends. They also call your number order out on a machine and you go get it from the counter. You also clean up after yourself (returning trays to a certain area, bowls, etc.) It's also on the same strip as a lot of restaurants, cafes, and other dessert spots. Parking close might be an issue but there's a parking garage/lot walking distance from it. I used to go to snowy dessert bar but it closed down so I go to meet fresh more now with my friends/family. Highly recommend if you're in the area :)

Place was cute but service was okay, very transactional. The dessert was mediocre. The boba caramel pudding was bland and light in caramel flavor. The boba was also not that good. The passion fruit sorbet B had almond pudding on the bottom, passion fruit ice in the middle, topped with red bean and mini q (their mochi). The passion fruit was super tart and I didn't enjoy the seeds, it was hard and too crunchy, for me it was just a texture preference though. The toppings were good, I really enjoyed the mochi. The almond pudding was subtle and it was decent. Lastly the herbal tea w/ fresh milk and herbal jelly was okay. The tea wasn't anything special but the herbal jelly was good. read more
We have always been big Meet Fresh fans, but we were disappointed today, across the board with everything we got. We got the Q mochi milk shaved ice, it was not what it was supposed to look like or taste like at all. Instead of a shaved ice mountain placed on a plate, it was stuffed in a bowl, mixed with a bowl of condensed milk, ice melted in a second, we just ended up drinking a bowl of melted ice and sweet milk. Then the hot red bean soup A, again another disappointment, it was literally a bowl of soup with a little bit of toppings, you could barely find all these ingredients in the soup. Couldn't even take a picture, just a bowl of dark soup. I really hope the manager could find out what happened and up the quality, because we really like Meet Fresh. read more

Came here for the first time with boyfriend and a second time with my cousin and uncle and it was a better experience the 2nd time. The first time my boyfriend came with me, we wanted to try out what they had because we'd never been before. The menu looked interesting and I was curious what was good. They have a variety of hot and cold desserts (red bean and grass jelly) but also shaved ice which is nice with how hot it has been in houston lately! We decided on ordering the almond pudding and mini q, the caramel pudding with mini q and a wintermelon milk tea with boba. I had been hoping there would be hot tea to help with the sweet desserts but they don't offer hot tea. When my boyfriend went to order at the counter, the guy at the counter inputted the wrong order of almond pudding, and overcharged us by $5 of the dessert plate. He didn't seem like he was familiar with the menu or just didn't listen to what my boyfriend had told him what we wanted since he pointed at the menu but the guy didn't look where my boyfriend was pointing, just at the computer the entire time. We were able to get the manager to reimburse the charge and then had to re-order again due to the incorrect order. Everything came out on a tray at the side counter and we went to pick it up. The almond pudding and mochi were delicious. The caramel pudding was very bland and the wintermelon milk tea was so so. I should have asked for 100% sugar instead of 50% because it wasn't as good with 50% sugar. The next time I came with my uncle and cousin, we got the strawberry and mango shaved ice with strawberry ice cream. It came with a little container of half and half but since I'm lactose, we didn't pour it on top. We also ordered the almond pudding and mini q for my cousin and uncle to try since we wanted something light for dessert and they really enjoyed it as well! We were able to finish everything even after a big dinner and overall they enjoyed everything. This place is good for large groups or even small groups, they have multiple tables set up with clear dividers for COVID cases which is nice. Good dessert place! read more

Meet Fresh is a great spot for shaved ice and boba lovers and one of my all time favorite desserts. Their menu is predominantly Taiwanese treats, offering a wide range of options like taro balls, herbal jelly, and shaved ice with fresh toppings and ice cream. Taste is authentic and the presentation is appetizing too! I always crave their Q mochi milk shaved ice and taro balls. The ambiance is clean and there are plenty of tables and seats, making it a great place to enjoy dessert with friends or family. While it can get busy at times, especially after dinner on the weekends, the service is usually very quick and efficient. I shared the double taro signature bowl and got the taro milk tea. The bowl was very filling and the level of sweetness was just right - not overwhelming. Overall, it was very filling and we both ate our fair share. Somewhere in between bites, it sort of became bland and not very flavorful. Taste, texture, and temperature are all important and I felt like there wasn't enough shaved ice so that probably contributed to the flatness. The taro milk tea was a bit chalky (could have been better blended) and not too impressive. Overall, if you love Asian dessert items that don't overload with sugar, this is the place for you! read more
At this point I'm already super full with dinner, but the moment I saw the desserts, I was craving. The line was pretty long when coming in but it does move pretty quickly. We ordered several desserts. My personal favorite was the Hot Red Bean Signature. Delicious chewy balls, fresh warm taro, boba balls, a chewy ball that consisted of a peanut butter filling. That was so goood! There's one Ty of seating for family and it is pretty loud. Highly recommend this dessert place if your in Bellaire. read more
Decently priced dessert! Meet Fresh never disappoints. I love all the different options available although sometimes overwhelming at times, you really can't go wrong with any option. Would recommend any of the signatures, especially anything with red bean!! Personally I love the refreshing feeling I get after eating any of the Icy grass jelly series. read more

Always love meet fresh desserts! Stopped by with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. Inside was pretty busy but they are fast! We ordered and our bowl was ready after a couple of minutes. We got the icy grass jelly signature bowl with sesame balls. It has shaved ice on the bottom, grass jelly, tarp balls, sweet potato balls, and creamer you can pour on top. I love adding the sesame balls because they're flavorful and a fun texture. One order is perfect for sharing with a friend- it could also be your meal if you wanted because it's a good size. Parking is available in the bellaire street food lot and garage. One random note- I went to use the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't flush, I suspect because the chain fell off in the tank. I told the workers and the person who went to check it out came back and said nothing was wrong. I let it be, and I assume maybe they misunderstood and thought I meant it was clogged. read more

This is a che place in a packed strip off bellaire. Like the center is packed all day everyday. There's a parking garage and a tiny lot. There's a big che menu for hot or cold items plus a boba drink menu. The 100% sweet isn't too sweet so that was good. I had a hot and a cold che. I enjoyed both. Overall yummy dessert place read more

We've been here several times and the service was friendly every time! They have a lot to offer so it can get overwhelming from reading the menu. I have a new question every time I want to order something haha. My favorite so far is the Red bean soup with boba, mochi, barley, and peanuts. The red beans are very well cooked and not too sweet. All the toppings are amazing add-ons but I do think my combination is the best hehe jk. They use boiled peanuts so they are soft not crunchy. Only complaint is that they add too little red beans in here! I ordered the red bean soup because I love beans, so gimme some more!! Shaved ice mountain was better than I anticipated. Not as impressive as Star Snow Ice or Juice Box, but still fairly decent. I had it with red beans, egg pudding, mochi, taro balls, and ice cream. Taro balls have very little taro flavors. Egg pudding has lots of gelatin in it, so it's not similar to the texture of flan at all. But overall it's still a good dessert. We ordered the chocolate waffle one time and we were very impressed by it. They need to add more chocolate or cocoa flavor in here. Now here's the tea. Jasmine milk tea and traditional milk tea (black tea base) were very tasty. I requested half sugar every time and that's the perfect level of sweetness for me. They are very very generous with their boba. Look at how much they put in my cup!! The winter melon tea is refreshing. The orange passion fruit tea has green tea so it's slightly caffeinated - highly recommending this drink!! The orange and passion fruit are fresh and the fruit juice to tea ratio was spot on. Tasted good at both regular and half sweet (depending on how sour you want the drink to be). I also ordered the tofu soup by itself one time. IMO the tofu was too soft and doesn't really retain its texture. However the tofu flavor was spot on so I might try it again some times. read more

I crave this way too often. Not a big fan of red beans or anything with the gritty texture so after a few failed orders I've finally found the perfect order -- iced herbal grass jelly bowl, add side of caramel pudding, almond pudding, sugar syrup (only use half) and one creamer. read more

If you love Asian desserts like red bean, grass jelly and mochi.. this place is for you! They have a HUGE menu with someone for everyone but beware of the Large portion sizes that are to totally big enough to share. read more
The hype was not real to be honest, I've tried this spot twice & both times it has been an underwhelming experience. The items are overpriced & the service was not helpful & unwelcoming. I asked the cashier two quick/simple questions about the menu & her reaction was like "just order & get out of my face". I decided to get their red bean milk shaved ice with caramel pudding & almond pudding. The only thing that I enjoyed was the scoop of ice cream, which tasted like blue bell. The beans were bland & had no sweetness to it. The shaved ice had barely any condensed milk so, I'm just eating ice. Both of the puddings tasted like nothing & the almond pudding broke apart very fast & started to look slimy. The caramel pudding had a good texture, but had no flavor. Overall, it was not worth $9 for this dessert & the service was a joke. Will I come back? After the 2nd try, I think I've had enough. read more

Honestly this place wasn't horrible nor great. It was just eh. I would not come back here if I'm in Bellaire. There are plenty better places in my opinion. The taro paste milk tea was 90% whole milk so i thought they just gave me straight up milk with boba. It was also very lukewarm. The boba was too rubbery? I just had to swallow every one of them...... It wasn't worth 6 bucks. The waffle and ice cream wasn't bad but i didn't expect the raspberry inside the waffles. It was overpowering. I would say it's just a one time experience and move on kind of place. read more
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. There were a few people already seated and eating so I was not sure why it took so long for our dessert to come out. I was craving some Asian desserts but did not want anything hot so I picked their shaved ice Q mochi milk. When the dessert came out I tried the ice first and was a little disappointed that it was in chunks. The shaved ice was not very shaved and overall the size of the dessert was a lot smaller than I expected. As for the contents of the desserts it came with a variety of things like melon jelly, mochi sticks, taro mochi balls, ice cream, and little mochi bits. The dessert itself was good but it would not be something that I would order again or necessarily crave. I think next time if I were to come back I would try one of their more signature desserts like the grass jelly. I am big fans of meet fresh boba tea. I have purchased meet fresh from many different locations. On Dec 30, 2023, I purchased boba tea with order number # 64282. When sipping the tea, I felt a sharp object inside my mouth. I had to extract this sharp object and found it was a piece of plastic was inside the drink. The plastic was pointy and sharp. I included 2 pictures. With order number #64282 I ordered 2 drinks. The other drink had no issue with plastic. Please be careful when preparing drink for customer. I almost ingested this small plastic from drink. Had I ingested this drink, I could go to ER. read more
I've been to many Meet Fresh locations all over the west coast. The service here is the worst. The Meet Fresh presentation is terrible. See pictures. It all taste great but looked like a sloppy mess. If only corporate knew. We spent $50 and couldn't even get the points credited to out rewards. 1 of 3 people finally took our number but still couldn't log in to enter it. The shaved ice here was pretty good, we got their Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, all their toppings are so good especially their almond jelly, very flavorful. This location is a bit packed, especially at night so it tends get noisy. read more
Another great Meet Fresh location but this one is n Chinatown off Belaire. Overall consistent quality like other MF locations. The icy grass jelly dessert was super delicious and not overly sweet. Always a positive experience at MF! read more

Pros - Lots of options on their menu, they offer snacks, drinks, and traditional Chinese dessert soups! - clean and cute interior - open for dine in, I appreciate that they blocked off every other table so visitors can space themselves out properly - ample parking - the dessert soup we got was super tasty! I loved the grass jelly and mochi combination, not too sweet and tasted really well chilled Cons - the cashier was impatient and rude. When I asked to adjust the sweetness level of my drink she said I don't need to and pretty much didn't give me an option - we got the BOGO deal for their fresh bubble milk tea and it was so gross. I ALWAYS finish my drinks especially bubble drinks, but this one was so bland and waaaaay too milky. - Price of one fresh milk bubble tea was $7.50!!! Way overpriced and totally not worth it read more

This place is a hit or miss everytime you visit. Came here twice in the span of a week and received 2 drastically different experiences. I ordered the icy grass jelly-C shaved ice and that's my normal go to. When made correctly it's like 2/3 full of grass jelly shaved ice and the other 1/3 topped with misc jelly and boba. But when I went the staff skimped out on the shaved ice and practically gave me a bowl of just jelly and boba with a bit of shaved ice on the bottom. I come for a refreshing dessert, not a disappointment in a bowl. They are inconsistent with the quality of service provided and their proportions. Staff needs better training read more
Good Taiwanese dessert shop with a variety of desserts from red bean soup to shaved ice/snow ice. They put up barriers between the tables for COVID precautions. The area is self serve and they offer utensils and bowls to share food with others. The food looks great but the flavors are unfortunately a bit lacking. The glutinous jellos surprisingly just didn't taste like anything and the dessert dumplings (tang yuan) were also surprisingly not very sweet. The other stuff were pretty good but the flavors just weren't quite there. read more

This is a pretty cute dessert place located in one of the newer plazas in Bellaire. The dessert bowls are various mix-and-matches of a lot of standard Asian dessert ingredients (mung beans, grass jelly, taro balls, sweet potato balls, boba, etc.), and I honestly don't remember which exact one I got but I'll comment on the components below. The pricing was ok (~$7-8 per bowl, sharable btw. 2 people). Sweet potato and taro balls: I was expecting great things after reading other reviews, but these didn't have much flavor (weren't really sweet, and if they weren't colored I'm not sure I could tell them apart based on taste). They were nice and chewy though and made the bowl feel more substantial. Mochi balls: These are really big mochi balls, and I think because of this, the middles of these were hard to chew. I would not recommend getting these. Red bean, taro, grass jelly flavored shaved ice: I liked these components and thought they added the most flavor to the dish. The shaved ice was refreshing and not too sweet. Boba: Standard boba I probably wouldn't get a dessert bowl if I went again and would try a shaved ice or drink instead. You might have to wait a little for a seat if you come on the weekend, but people usually eat and leave pretty quickly. The atmosphere wasn't really conducive to studying/working since it was pretty noisy, but it'd be nice for afternoon/after dinner chats. read more
Trying Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙 for the first time after seeing friends posted their dining experience on Facebook from other Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙. I like the concept of introducing taro 芋頭 to western taste bud as desserts. Taro is also a stable in Polynesian diet and vegetables in Asia. I love dessert tofu 豆花 since childhood. I could never find a decent restaurant that makes it correctly. But Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙 hit it right on point. It was silky soft and had no chemical taste. It had a chunk of ice in my soup that I didn't care for. I would try hot version next time. The interior has a map of their other branches in the world and a story of Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙. These are universally seen at other Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙 restaurants. This Meet Fresh 鲜芋仙 was one of the very first restaurants to open at Bellaire Food Street mall. Best time to come is during the day. Been here twice and both times were pretty solid. The first time we shared the Signature Icy Grass Jelly and that was really good! The grass jelly was served in a creamy coconut milk "broth" with mini chewies (rice?) that remind me of mochi. Fairly simple but it all went together really well. Grass jelly desserts aren't too common, so this was a nice change from the usual snow ice or Vietnamese che. The second time I got the Fresh Milk Black Tea with Boba. This was really good and I would say one of the top milk teas I've had in Houston! It sure lives up to its name - you can taste the fresh milk in it which makes it stand out from other boba shops. My only gripe about this place is that it's a bit overpriced for dessert. For almost $8, I could get the equivalent of two milk teas or another meal at a nearby Chinatown restaurant. @meetfreshusahouston ~ 9393 Bellaire Blvd Meet fresh is a very specific type of restaurant if you want Taiwanese style dessert or sweet soups, hot or cold. I love the uniqueness of the dessert and the taste and texture. It is great for cold or hot weather. I have been a few times and always down to go when I get tired of other desserts or want to switch up my post-meal dessert. Service: 3/5 I came in today to ordered a lemon wintermelon tea with boba. The baristas finished my order right away even before I finished paying which I understand, I ordered a simple drink. However, they did forget about the boba which I told them in the beginning. We already finished the first transaction so he had to put in a new order for boba which caused it to be an extra 30 cents. The drink itself came out to be around $7.25 in which the boba with double tax made it come up to $8. A bit frustrating but wasn't a big deal. Food: 4/5 The lemon wintermelon tea with boba was very delicious. I was afraid of the tea becoming too sweet since it had lemon in it but it was not too sweet. The boba was a good size and lacked honey or brown sugar. The texture was nice, not too hard or soggy. Would I pay $7-8 dollars for this boba though? Not often. It was not worth $7-8 dollars and would probably go again just for the unique sweet soup. Ambience: 5/5 The restaurant itself was clean and nice. The seating was well lit and had a lot of seating. I went during the early afternoon on a weekday so it was empty but I could imagine the crowd at night and on weekends. The furniture was modern and the boba cups are cute. Overall, a good place to eat sweet soup but for boba there are other places that have cheaper and the same taste level as this. Sweet soup is delicious and so is the boba. I loooooove Meet Fresh and think it will be a great addition to the Bellaire Food Street strip. Parking in this area sucks, though. The thoroughfare in the front is super tight and is tough to maneuver if you've got a big car. I have liked everything that I've ever ordered at Meet Fresh. I especially like anything with their taro balls, QQ mochi or almond pudding. Sooo good. They'll also reduce the ice and sugar content in your drink if you ask! Service is friendly and fast. Service was fast and the store was nice and clean. My friend and I ordered a medium to split and I was still shocked at the size. It was my first time having shaved ice, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'll definitely be coming back to try other flavors! read more

I love the rice balls because they are so chewy. I usually buy many orders of it too! This time, i paid for SIX(6) orders of rice balls in addition to my dessert. I am pretty sure each add-on order has a few. They probably have a specified amount per order as an add-on. But whomever put my to-go dessert together must have been confused or not very used to people paying $3 worth of add-ons because they literally only gave me 6....... I asked for 6 orders of it.. not 1 piece each.... What the hell happened? I was so excited to eat my dessert when I got home.. I knew I didn't want to stay and eat in the store bc 1. It's a Saturday night 2. it was way too packed in there. I am so disappointed. I feel like I was robbed. I was order a QQ Milktea Soup custom with mini q, boba, ube paste, almond pudding and rice ball. The cashier told me it already have taroball in it and milk tea soup. And what I received from them just so sad. They just give me mini q, boba, rice ball, almond pudding and the soup, no taro ball and ube paste. Is it worth for $13? They missed my order but they just charge more than that. I was order for dine in but have some problem so I bring my bowl for them to put that on the togo box.
