The people in the office were very kind and organized, and there was water as well.

Honestly, the care I got was pretty typical of Corewell…read more Came in with vague symptoms; full body pain, recent menstrual cycle, lightheaded, fatigued. Waited 20 minutes in an empty lobby--which is honestly fast for this location--and was seen by a nurse, who took all of the patient history and symptoms. When the PA came in later--I don't know if they even have any doctors on staff despite their advertisements because I know I've never seen one--she asked all the same questions again to a nearly unconscious, lethargic, and crying patient. It was three minutes before she said "go see a neurologist," gave us a phone number for Beaumont's cardiac care, and was ready to walk out the door without explaining her reasoning or thought process for any of it. Again, no doctors on staff to prescribe medication. I've been put through the wringer with the healthcare system since I was eight years old. Strokes, surgery, epilepsy, every different kind of "therapy" there is in Medical School 101. I've seen blunt doctors, mean doctors, doctors who are too careful and end up misdiagnosing in unneeded precaution. But Carol Greer was none of these things; she admitted she wasn't interested in pursuing any further testing because "you guys came to the urgent care." The more I learn about Corewell, the more I hate it. Between the mass firings, union busting, and tele-doctors, I would have been better off driving to Detroit or Ann Arbor and getting help. In the past, I've spent hours in this building only to be shunted off to the ER or given two tablets of Tylenol to take with dinner, so don't expect anything other than that. I hate to sound like a Karen, but if you're thinking about coming here, just go to Royal Urgent Care, Henry Ford, or honestly your family member who's a doctor instead; you'd get better advice out of Doc McStuffins than you'd get from here.
