Most of the people, including me, don't like to write positive reviews on the internet. In this case, I am making an exception. Matthew Claasen is a guy who takes his job seriously. It seems to be his passion, not just the job. He makes no shortcuts in helping people with a particular problem - providing information on his youtube channel, web site and later guiding in picking the right both Medicare Medigap and part-D insurance. I watched most of his videos and the videos of others. These videos gave me the necessary knowledge, which everybody should invest their time in. Before I called Matthew, I knew what I needed. During the scheduled phone conversation Matthew convinced me that there is a little bit more. His understanding of the Medicare market is deep so he can clearly explain why suggested by him plans are better than others. He gave me an excellent warm feeling about the process. From a scheduled 1-hour phone call, we finished the application process in less than 20 minutes. I was signed up to my both additional Medicare plans, and I am convinced that should I need any help in the future (moving to another provider/plan) Matthew will be there to guide me through the process. If you feel lost and need help in deciding what is right for you in the Medicare world, I do highly recommend Matthew. You will not be disappointed. P.S. Matthew's business is in Florida, but as you can tell, his clients come from all over the United States. I tried to use local independent brokers, but I quickly realized that for most of them the Medicare insurance is just a side job. Most of them have no websites; many use Gmail or Yahoo as their "business" emails contacts. This should tell you something. read more

I turn 65 soon and have been inundated with mail about Medicare: most of it pitching "$0 premium Advantage" plans. Even my provider's office implied these were my only option (which isn't true, by the way). I couldn't shake the feeling I was being "herded" into something that may not be best for me. After some on-line research I found MedigapSeminars.org and boy, am I glad I did! Matthew's videos were a breath of fresh air, offering "no strings attached" expertise, rather than a sales pitch. Matthew was so clear and easy to follow. He confirmed what I had already learned and tackled the complexity so I could see the whole picture. He clearly knows his stuff, and after a few videos, I felt much more confident that I understood the pros and cons of my options. MedigapSeminars.org is clearly on the "Supplement" side of things, but Matthew explains both Supplement and Advantage Plans clearly and fairly. My over-the-phone contact has been excellent and their follow-through lives up to their promises. They answered my remaining questions, facilitated my enrollment and then helped me sort through my Part D options. I especially like that MedigapSeminars isn't just about the "sale". They have been generous with their time and have the expertise "in house" to help me navigate Medicare and Medicare plans. I feel like I can rely on them for support down the road. read more

I can't say enough about Mattew Claasen and about his company Medigapseminars. Before I watched these you tube videos that he has for anyone to watch I knew nothing about trying to pick a medicare supplemental policy for myself and I knew this would be a very important decision I would be making soon since I am approaching 65 soon. After watching his very informative videos my stress level went from a 10 to a 1. I now had all the information I needed to make this very important decision for myself. He and his staff also answered many questions that I needed the answers for before signing up with him. I was very relaxed after talking with them after having all this new knowledge. His video's explain everything you need to know to make an educated decision and it is done in a relaxing way and not difficult to understand at all. I can not thank Mathew and his staff enough for making me feel as I was his only customer and treated me like I was a VIP. I would recommend Medigapseminars to anyone needing to to make these decisions before reaching 65, and know you are getting 100 % honest information and not a decision that is best financially for Mathew and his company but the best decision for you and your needs. I have worked in health insurance all of my adult life but when it came to Medicare and choosing the right Medicare plan for myself, I found the entire process to be incredibly overwhelming. I started reading materials and books and the process started to become a little more clear but it was only when I began watching videos on YouTube and specifically MedigapSeminars.org, did everything begin to gel and come together. I felt I was educated enough to choose the right plan for myself and, in calling and discussing my life situation with Matthew, I was assured that I was making the right choice. Actually, when I called MedigapSeminars, I figured that I would be talking with a C/S Rep or a sub-agent, but when Matthew answered the phone himself I was surprised and delighted. I went through the application process over the phone, it only took about 20 minutes, and I was done. I just got an email from Matthew yesterday that the policy I applied for was approved and on its way! Thank you Matthew for making this process so much more simple and easier to understand. I will not hesitate on recommending you to my other friends and family that are right behind me in having to go through this incredibily difficult decision making process. read more

I found Matthew Claassen online while researching Medicare Supplemental plans. I chose Matthew due to his easily understandable and extensive educational videos on you-tube as compared to other agents using the same media tool. It is worth mentioning that my husband had gone through the Medicare decision process two years ago with another agent. Although I reached out to my husband's agent prior to contacting Matthew, her lack of response to my simple questions caused me to seek an agent that was knowledgeable, patient and responsive. I found that and more with my interactions with Matthew Claassen. He even answered questions that my husband had regarding my husband's current supplemental policy. After he discussed the best options as to my present circumstances, I felt that the decision as to which policy was best for me was mine to make. No pressure either way from Matthew. He has offered to assist in the future with any questions or concerns I have regarding Medicare options. As evidenced by his response time to my calls and emails, and his patience with my husband and my repetitive questions, I do not doubt that Matthew will be there for us in the future as we go through this Medicare journey. read more

I highly recommend MedigapSeminars.org , Matthew Claassen , and staff. I was searching through YouTube, as well , as doing internet search regarding Medicare. Being first time that I would be applying, I wanted to get as much information as I could. The videos made sense to me. He is soft spoken and presents the information in a way I understood. I had seen other videos from others; yet his videos were presented in a professional manner. Then I went to the website; read up on more information, and reviewed some videos I had seen on YouTube. I went to the Medicare.gov website and could navigate better after seeing the videos. I set up my appointment for consultation via the website. A representative, named Candy called and assisted me through the process, answer in any questions and clarifications I needed. With their expert advice , I have signed up for a supplemental insurance and Part D plan. What I like moving forward is knowing I can call and they will assist me. You just know they know their stuff, and provide you with sound recommendations. They provide you with links that further enhance the ease you will feel going through the decision process. read more

I'm recently disabled and as a consequence I qualified for Medicare and needed to buy a supplemental insurance policy to cover the 20% of expenses not payed by Medicare. I also live in California which like many other states has special rules for Medicare beneficiaries and the disabled. After speaking with several insurance companies and brokers I was really discouraged by all the conflicting information, pressure sales tactics, and stupidity I encountered. I needed to get a policy before my open enrollment period expired and I was having a tough time finding the right coverage at a reasonable price. Then luckily, just by chance, I found Matthew. Matthew was professional, knowledgeable, and when he didn't have an answer to one of my questions about a confusing state specific law for the disabled he did the research that helped me contact the state regulator and get the info I needed. When it came time for me to pick a policy Matthew quoted me some of the most competitive rates I had seen. I very rarely take the time to write a review, but I really feel Matthew deserves your business. Give him a try. read more

When I was first learning about Medicare I was confused and overwhelmed with all of the mailings and online information regarding Medicare. I just couldn't see how I was even going to understand it all and make the right choices. I came across Matthew Claassen and Medigap Seminars online and watched some of Matthews seminars. I found them very informative. There's an invitation to call Matthew to get help in signing up for and understanding medicare options. Matthew and I talked and it was almost like a miracle. He took all the time I needed to understand things on many different occasion's. He is professional, patient, courteous, friendly and extremely experienced with Medicare. I ended up using Mathew as my agent for my wife's Altrua Healthshare Plan, my Medicare Plan D Plan and my Supplemental Insurance Medicare Plan. I am incredibly grateful to Matthew in how much he helped me. If you find your anxiety rising high when it comes to medicare you have nothing to lose by giving Matthew a call see for yourself. Matthew's seminars are always clear, concise and up-to-date with the latest information, no small task with new changes every year. I received a quote from him a few months before I was ready to sign-up for MediGap coverage. When I had my one-on-one conversation with Matthew, he immediately let me know that the premium he quoted had gone down. My daughter sat in on the conversation and Matthew was able to answer all of our questions quickly and with authority (no "wait a minute while I look that up"). Matthew took us through the application process step-by-step, making the whole process quite simple to complete. If you are approaching retirement, I highly recommend watching all of the videos that Matthew has produced either on his YouTube Channel or directly on his website at MediGapSeminares.org. When it's time to sign up, it will be like getting help from a wise, trusted friend! read more

I can't thank Matthew enough for posting those wonderful videos that took the fear out of the introduction to Medicare. I was literally in a cold sweat at the thought of trying to learn it all! I actually googled " Medicare for dummies" and I was fortunate enough to have landed on his YouTube channel! While watching the videos I knew that when I would sign up there was only one person I trusted. So the other day I made that call from Texas to Florida and in less than an hour Matthew had signed me with Medicare, Medicare Supplement and a Drug Plan! He told me that if I ever had any questions in the future with Medicare, Doctors or Billing to give Medigap a call as each of his clients have advocates to help with any issues! It just doesn't get any better than that! Thank you Matthew Claassen/MedigapSeminar.org! This 65 year old thinks "You are the best!" Jody read more

I just completed my signing up for Medicare and choosing a secondary plan and insurance. I stressed about this since deciding to retire at age 65 . As always I prayed on it. I found Medigap Seminars on youtube. I watched the different seminars, educating myself as much as I could. By the time I needed to sign up and choose, I felt much more confident. I got in touch with Matthew Claassen at medigapseminars.org, and He was wonderful. Answered my questions on how and when to apply. I am now signed up and ready to retire knowing I have chosen the right Medicare plan, and Medicare D drug plan... It feels good to now relax and enjoy my countdown to retire... Matthew was so calming and easy to talk to , explained everything, step by step... I highly recommend him, (and have) to anyone joining medicare. Thank you God , and Thank you Matthew.. read more

I've looked at all of Matthew's seminars about Medicare on YouTube and found them to be very helpful. Navigating the various choices one has to make can be at worst a nightmare and at best a major pain. Mr Claassen has shown me the light helping me navigate through the rat's maze called Medicare and I came out feeling pretty good about it. I've signed up twice now. (Long Story) The first time I went with a local company (AZ) and the second time with Medigap Seminars. I thought the local co. would be more helpful in case I needed help. Nope. Once I signed up they were pretty much done with me. Medigap Seminars goes the extra mile and has offered to be the go between with any problems that might arise in the future. They have a dedicated person to handle just that type of situation. Pretty cool. read more

Being new to Medicare my wife and I can indeed highly recommend Matthew's outstanding online video seminars, in which he explains in easy terms what is Medicare about, the intricacies of the overall application process and how to avoid some pitfalls. Matthew also offers personal help and assistance. So we contacted him directly and found him very friendly, responsive, amazingly knowledgeable and professional. He helped us finding and applying for an optimal supplemental insurance. Thanks to his support it was as easy as it could get. We were very impressed with his courtesy and how calm and professional he answered and explained all our additional questions, - and we had a lot. Matthew really took his time. Based on our positive experience we highly recommend to contact and work with Matthew Claassen. read more

During the months leading up to my medicare eligible date I was bombarded with mail brochures and phone calls from insurance providers. I spoke with several and none were capable of answering my questions. Finally a friend of mine who recently obtained medicare supplements sent me a link to a website called medigapseminars.org and it was extremely informative and helpful. I contacted Matthew Claassen and he was able to answer every question I had and explain the PROs & CONs of every supplement in easy to understand details. I ended up signing up for just what I need and saved a lot of time and hassle and even some money. It was super quick and easy. GREAT Job Matthew !!!! His YouTube videos were the first genuinely helpful and non-promotional educational material I was able to find on Medicare. There's plenty of factual information available online about Medicare but there's almost no helpful advice or perspective, so Matthew's videos were a welcome change. Until I found his videos, I was on the wrong path and I'm sure I would have regretted it eventually. I sent the company an email with a description of my situation. Candy replied and invited me to speak with her. She was friendly and patient on the phone so I was able to come to a decision quickly and confidently. There are plenty of local brokers who could take my order, but Matthew's helpful videos earned my business. And thanks to Candy's patience and expertise, I know I made the right choice. read more

I highly recommend Matthew Claassen, CMT and Medigap Seminars! The "All About Medicare" webinar series is invaluable! Most importantly for me, this series made crystal clear the differences between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, something I found difficult to glean from other Medicare materials out there. Don't underestimate how critical it is that you understand these differences before choosing your Medicare coverage! Once finished with the webinar, I decided to give Matthew Claassen, CMT a call for more specific information. I was not disappointed! His grasp of all things Medicare is vast. He wants only what's best for each of his customers. He is warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. I've since referred many friends to him. All have been very pleased! read more

I started my education of Medicare by watching YouTube videos. I ran across MedigapSeminars.org videos and I really liked the time Matthew Claassen took explaining each part of Medicare. Once I had all the notes I needed to begin my search for my Medicare Insurance choices I only needed to do one thing. Call MedigapSeminars.org. I spoke with Matthew and he really was as down to earth as he is on his videos. Plus he asked the right questions and listened to me as I explained what I thought I really wanted. He made this process of making the right choices, submitting the applications to the insurance carriers so simple that I knew I made the right choice to use Matthew as my broker. Hi, Marcene and Mathew: I would like to thank you very much for those education videos from which we have learned a lot about how to select the best supplement Plan and the best Plan D prescription. I will definitely give your highest rank. You are the best. Especially, I would like to thank Marcene very much for her valuable suggestions and instructions and helps on enrollment of our supplement Plan. Marcene is a very good representative, skillful, patient and responds quickly to our questions and issues, especially she has been handled our final issue in a very professional way even if I was inpatient when I misunderstood the processing timing. Thanks to Marcene a lot and we are willing to continue keeping our business relationship with you for the future. read more
