Luckily, in November...after a couple of months of struggling....I went to RedMed. To sum it up? They saved my life. I listened to them, went directly to the ER in Collierville, and I'm here today. With the correct diagnosis. All because someone took time to do their job, grab a stethoscope...and listen. Thank you. Upon my arrival a little early to make sure all my paperwork was filled out. Once finished the paperwork give it back to the lady at the front she still holding onto my insurance card and driver licence. She tell me she not finish with my items but she made copy of both. Waited 5 more mins to be told I haven't made my deduction and I would have to pay 174.00 before they could see me. I am completely out of all my meds. She never said well let me see if you could make payment. Just we can't see you I am sorry. Not acceptable. I will never go To any of St. Francis facility again.

The wait times are a little longer than I would prefer but I am very satisfied with the doctors. I've never felt rushed or than couldn't ask questions. They are open and nonjudgmental. Very nice staff as well which makes a world of difference in a doctor's office visit.

Without boring you with all the details of my $1,000,000 stay in the hospital - I'll just say they said the cause was my liver. The GI Doctor said my liver might get better but he recommended I go ahead and get on the list for a transplant. I was under the impression that it could take years before I would get a transplant. Surprise, surprise, surprise - two days after getting listed I got a call and was told to get to the hospital for a transplant. Because of their system you end up seeing almost every doctor - most I really liked and felt comfortable with. I gave a lot of blood for lab work and the folks were for the most part painless. The waiting room here is VERY cold during the summer as are the exam rooms - layer your cloths. The wait can be extra long if you go on Monday morning - try to go later in the week. Most everyone is friendly and helpful. A few of the doctors are from outside the states and at least one needs some cultural diversity training. All in all, these guys probably saved my life.

I seen John, he is "AWESOME" & has a great sense of humor! He showed empathy toward my condition, was very thorough and he wasn't in a hurry to rush out of the exam room. John made me at ease. While there John introduced me to the Wound Care NP Jessica. They both are wonderful people. I can not speak highly enough of both of them, they truly care for their patients! ***Wound Care Visit: I've been to 4 different Wound Care places and Modern Vascular is by far the best! I waited less than 5 minutes in waiting room before I was called back to exam room. (I always go in the afternoon.) Jessica she is the best! As one of my Doctors told me when he found out I was seeing Jessica "She wants to get your wound healed & she stands out from all the other Wound Doctors" and I agree! I had been experiencing severe (as in shark biting my leg) pain especially during driving 600 miles each way to renovate my parent's home in Ohio. After nerve testing I was put on a very low dose generic medication which alleviated the problem. Apparently I respond to it very well and didn't need the heavily advertised brand medication. His recommendation was to try to generic first. As a neurologist he works mainly with Medicare patients, MS, diabetic nerve pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and nerve pain from arthritis. The location is off residential Farmington so you will need sharp eyes or a GPS... or both. I drove past and had to circle back.
