However, a month later, I received a bill for $750!! I called the office back and they told me that they have nothing to do with billing and there's nothing they can (nor will) do to help me. I called the billing department (972-758-9422) and they said that they just charge whatever service the doctor told them to charge and they are unwilling to help either. Since we were walk-ins, it took hours to see a Dr. (not their fault), and they had no cost estimate for the service. When we saw Dr. Rodriguez, she hooked my daughter up to a machine to check the baby's heart said everything is fine, and asked my daughter if she had had caffeine. It turned out my daughter had caffeinated tea before her appointment so the baby's heart rate was higher than usual and there was no issue. When I got the bill for this it was $3,129. It seemed like our OB pulled a scare tactic scam on us to get a referral bonus from NT Perinatal. Total waste of time and A LOT of money.
